Razer recently revealed that Project Hazel is not just a concept but the company is working to create a real mask.
According to Razer CEO Min-Liang Tan, “We’ve realized that even with vaccinations we are hearing you still have to be masked up because there is still the risk factor that even if you’re vaccinated you still need to be incredibly careful. Secondly, there are also many countries that are unlikely that are going to get the whole [scale] of vaccinations in the next year or even two so travelling everyone should be very careful”.
Razer’s Project Hazel will be a smart mask utilising multiple technologies. At the same time, it will be comfortable to wear due to its adjustable ear loops.

Surgical N95 respirator: The mask will have a high bacterial filtration efficiency (BFE) and a high fluid resistance value to resist splashes and showers.
Auto-sterilization function: The UV light in the interior of the special charging case kills pathogens while the mask is in charging mode.Project Hazel comes with a special charging case lined with a UV light interior which kills bacteria and viruses as the mask charges.
Chroma RGB lighting: Each respirator will come with a ring of Chroma RGB LEDs. The lighting will get automatically enabled to illuminate the mouth region so that others can see your lip movement while talking.
Voice Projection: The embedded microphones and amplifiers will deliver the voice through the mask. It will prevent the muffling of sound due to obstruction.

This message appears only when you stream PUBG Mobile on an Apple device. The company took a defensive stand against the allegations regarding the gameplay streaming. Realme did not accept that the players used an iPhone rather than the Narzo 30A. However, it tried to evade the situation under the pretext of a post-recording error.
According to Realme, “Respecting and abiding by the local pandemic control policy, the Narzo 30A launch video was planned to be recorded in advance. Additionally, the launch video involved a Narzo 30A hands-on gaming video. To ensure a better quality video output, the gaming part was recorded by our partner A1 Esports team and sent to the producer, post-recording. Although the A1 team did use the Narzo 30A smartphone for the recording of the gaming part, a wrong file was accidentally sent to the producer, which led to the appearance of a non-Realme smartphone in the video. In response to this issue, we have immediately contacted our A1 team partner to rectify the accident. We shall republish the video after the re-production is complete. We sincerely apologize for any unanticipated impacts the incident may have caused”.

The new Realme 8 Pro comes with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor. The performance of this smartphone is the same as that of the Realme 7 Pro making it less competitive in the market. Moreover, other smartphones like Redmi Note 10 Pro and Poco X3 offer a more powerful processor. Since the GPU installed in all three smartphones is the same, the more powerful processor will deliver a better performance and also help in gaming.

The Realme 8 Pro sports a Super AMOLED 60Hz display. Although the screen quality is good, the refresh rate is sub-standard. A high refresh rate is a pre-requisite for fast-paced gaming. The Redmi Note 10 Pro renders a refresh rate of 120Hz making it suitable for lag-free gaming. With only 60Hz, the new Realme 8 Pro is not expected to go far in the gaming aspect.

The Realme 8 Pro is powered by a weak 4,500mAh battery that will not last even a day. On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy M31 (in the same segment) comes packed with a massive 6000mAh battery that can keep your smartphone awake for the entire day even if you like to play games.

The aesthetics of the new Realme 8 Pro are similar to that of its predecessor. The only difference lies in the shape of the rear camera setup. Unlike the Realme 7 Pro, this smartphone has quad rear cameras in a square. This might be a compulsion due to a smaller dimension as compared to its predecessor. The front panel looks the same with the selfie camera embedded inside a punch hole at the top-right corner. So, no great shakes.

The Realme 8 Pro comes only in one storage variant i.e. 128GB. If you want to buy this smartphone, you don’t get storage flexibility. Since the Realme 7 Pro offered 128GB, the new edition was expected to offer multiple storage variants for a variety of users. Since storage expansion is always an option, releasing a 64GB variant would have given an edge in terms of price over Redmi Note 10 Pro. As of now, the latter seems to be the preferred choice of most smartphone users.

In response to the rising displeasure regarding the new direct message feature, Slack backtracked and announced to make improvements in the feature to avoid chances of harassment. It decided to remove the flexibility to append custom text to the invitation mails.
According to Jonathan Prince, Slack’s Vice President of communications and policy, “We are taking immediate steps to prevent this kind of abuse, beginning today with the removal of the ability to customize a message when a user invites someone to Slack Connect DMs… As always, we are grateful to everyone who spoke up, and we are committed to fixing this issue”.
