Now the microblogging site is rolling out an automated captions for voice tweets after much criticism for not having captions. Though Twitter offers captions in Twitter spaces which is Clubhouse-like social audio rooms. The Voice tweet functionality works similar to Tweeting with text. The users can use their voice tweet and with the arrival of the new feature, the user will now see captions generated in supported languages.Twitter announced the rolling out of the captions for voice tweets on its platform via a tweet. The tweet reads, “We’re rolling out voice Tweets to more of you on iOS so we can keep learning about how people use audio. Since introducing the feature in June, we’ve taken your feedback seriously and are working to have transcription available to make voice Tweets more accessible.” The company further added, “ Transcription for audio and video is part of our larger plan to make Twitter accessible for everyone across all features, both existing and new.”With the introduction of captions for voice tweets, the microblogging platform will automatically generate captions whenever there is a voice tweet that too in supported languages using your device’s language settings. According to Twitter, this functionality will now work accurately if your device language is set to one language and you are speaking another. As of now it supports English, Japanese, Spanish, Portuguese, Turkish, Arabic, Hindi, French, Indonesian, Korean, and Italian.Right now captions for voice tweets feature is only accessible to the iOS platform. To access the feature click on the CC icon on the top-right corner of the voice tweet window. Note that the captions will be automatically generated on new voice tweets but not on the older ones. Twitter’s head of global accessibility Gurpreet Kaur stated, “As part of our ongoing work to make Twitter accessible for everyone, we’re rolling out automated captions for Voice Tweets to iOS. Recently OnePlus confirmed that the OnePlus Nord 2 will come with OxygenOS 11 and support two major Android updates along with three years of security updates. In a new reveal the company has revealed the design of the upcoming smartphone prior to the official launch. The next-gen of Nord is scheduled to debut in India on July 22. The device has also been listed on Amazon to tease its availability.The news comes by way of an Instagram post in which the Chinese smartphone company has shared a photo of the OnePlus Nord 2. The back design is shown in a blue back panel with the OnePlus branding in the middle. The smartphone can be seen featuring a triple rear camera setup that is aligned vertically on the left corner of the phone. The camera set-up mainly consists of two large sensors and one smaller sensor alongside the flash module. The camera resolution has not been revealed but the handset is tipped to feature a 50-megapixel sensor inspired by OnePlus 9 Pro. It is a Sony IMX766 primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS).Previously the company revealed that the OnePlus Nord 2 will have OxygenOS 11 based on top of Android 11 out-of-the-box. The company has also promised to release two major Android updates. In addition to this, the Nord 2 owners will also get regular security updates for three years. The device will be the first to ship OxygenOS release v11.3, based on the integrated codebase after the OxygenOS-ColorOS codebase merger.

The Chinese smartphone company, Poco, has officially announced to launch of its next gaming smartphone. The company has decided to introduce the Poco F3 GT on July 23 at 12 noon in the country. Alongside revealing the launch date the company has also disclosed some of the key features of the upcoming smartphone. The teaser suggests that the smartphone will feature dual-stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos. Umang App which serves e-governance through mobile devices was launched by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) and the National e-Governance Division (NeGD). The unified app has now been integrated with MapmyIndia Maps and APIs to enable map services in India. Here is what government facilities can be located through Umang App.Umang (Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance) provides services of the central, state, local bodies, and various government agencies. The app is available for Android and iOS devices. In a new development, the app has been enabled with map services. With the integration, the people in the country will be able to find government facilities nearest to their location, such as mandis, blood banks and much more, at the click of a button.In addition to this, the users will also be able to see the driving distance, get directions and get turn by turn voice and visual guidance to those locations, including traffic and road safety alerts during navigation, through the linkage between Umang App and MapmyIndia. The application will also let you see these on the most detailed, interactive building, street and village level maps of India, built by MapmyIndia. Moreover, the Umang app has already started to provide other map functionality through MapmyIndia that includes Mera Ration, eNAM, Damini, ESIC and Indian Oil. The list also includes NHAI, NCRB and Meri Sadak.

iQoo 7 review: Design and Display
Let’s first start with the built quality and the design of the iQoo 7. This phone carries a simplistic design. The Solid Ice Blue colour, which we have, comes with a gradient finish and changes its hues when light hits it at different angles. The back of the phone is layered with AG matte glass to give it a matte yet smooth feel. Also, it does not attract any fingerprints and smudges at all. The big-sized camera module does not wobble when placed on a table or flat surface. The side frames are made of plastic and all the buttons are given on the right side that includes power and volume rocker keys. The power button does not double up as a fingerprint reader since the company has integrated an in-display sensor. The phone does not ship a 3.5mm headphone jack or a microSD card slot. At the bottom, you will find a SIM card slot, Type-C USB port and a speaker grille, which is primary while the earpiece is a secondary one. So, yes you do get stereo sound support.Due to its tall build, the device cannot be used single-handedly. There is a 6.62-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with 1,080×2,400 pixels of resolution, a 20:9 aspect ratio, a 120Hz refresh rate and a 300Hz touch sampling rate. Notably, most of the apps run on a 120Hz refresh rate, but YouTube on 60Hz only. Though it supports a higher refresh rate, the display does not feel buttery smooth while scrolling feeds on social media accounts. That could be the case of sensitivity. This we could feel as we have recently switched from Mi 11X Pro to iQoo 7, which was swift and smooth.The display comes with a peak brightness of 1,300nits, so the readability outdoors is perfect and can achieve low brightness while using the phone in bed or in dim light conditions. The colours are also fine, but you can change them in the display setting to your preference. The display comes with Widewine L1 support, but you can only stream content in HDR format. Moreover, there is an anti-flicker mode that reduces screen flicker and minimises visual fatigue when the screen brightness is low. But this may increase screen noise slightly.We have also realised that the company should have cut down the front camera diameter just like its competition has.

We have the 8GB RAM with a 128GB storage variant for review.The Snapdragon 870 unlocks great gaming performance and offers top-notch performance. Under real-life usage, the device is fast while opening default apps and effortless in multitasking. There even the most demanding titles like Call of Duty don’t stutter when played at the highest of graphics settings. You can convert the standard definition game to HDR. The phone does get warm at the back, but we cannot call it a heating issue. Most importantly this does not throttle the performance and the phone’s temp cools down very quickly. The company claims that the phone has a graphite layer cooling system, but playing graphic-intensive games like COD, PUBG and Asphalt will surely take a toll on the thermals after 15 minutes of gameplay. You will also get to feel the vibration during gaming since there is 4D Game Vibration which uses the dual linear vibration motor. This feature lets you feel the bumps and impacts that boost the overall gaming performance on iQoo 7.So far we have covered the display, design and performance side of things now comes the camera’s performance. You can also turn on the night mode, but sometimes the shots delivered are unnecessarily brighter at certain instances but does an excellent job in maintaining exposure and details in extremely low light conditions by bringing in more light. When it comes to portraits, the photos look unnaturally yellowish or orangish around the subject’s face. But sharpness and dynamic range are natural and the subject’s face looks smoothened. Besides this, the camera app offers some cool image effects to play with but at times the edge detection is just not perfect when it comes to selfies.Portrait shotsPortrait shotsNow coming to the videography, iQoo 7 can capture 4K videos at 60fps from its primary rear camera. However, this resolution lacks booths EIS and OIS. The ultra-wide videos remain limited to 1080p @ 30fps and it also lacks stabilisation.Macro shotThe selfie videos have good details and the skin tone looks natural while the audio pickup is decent as well.As for the battery life, iQoo 7 is fueled by a 4,400mAh battery. You end up getting more than 1 day of battery life even if you are a heavy user. The company ships a 65W charger that juices up the battery from zero to 50 percent in just 10 minutes and fully charges it in just half an hour. That’s commendable.

Popular social media app owned by Facebook, WhatsApp has released its first intermediary guidelines report under the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021. According to the report the messaging app has banned over 20 lakh accounts in India between May 15 – June 15, 2021, in order to prevent harmful behaviour. WhatsApp has also revealed that it has identified Indian accounts through the +91 country code of the registered mobile number. Moreover, the report reveals that 25 percent of accounts banned on Whatsapp are solely from India; the remaining are from the rest of the world.The breakdown shared by Whatsapp includes the revenues it received from several parties between May 15 to June 15, 2021. The report states that the messaging app has received 70 requests for account support and 204 ban appeals, out of which 63 accounts were banned on the app.As per the first intermediary guidelines report 2,011,000 accounts were banned in India between May 15 to June 15 2021. The Indian accounts were identified via +91 code prefixed before the phone number to register.Also Read: Soon you will be able to select media quality before sharing them files on WhatsApp“The abuse detection operates at three stages of an account’s lifestyle: at registration; during messaging; and in response to negative feedback, which we receive in the form of user reports and blocks. We have detailed our on-platform capabilities to identify and ban accounts in this white paper” the WhatsApp’s first intermediary guidelines report stated.
Over 95 percent of accounts were banned because of unauthorized use of automated or bulk messaging and spamming users. According to Whatsapp the behavioural signals from accounts that it relies on are unencrypted information including user reports, profile photos, and group photos and descriptions, besides deploying advanced AI tools and resources to detect and prevent abuse on our platform. Note that the company has published the report after the Indian government enforced new IT rules.

Instagram is rolling out a new security feature on its platform namely Security Check. This feature is being brought for the accounts that were hacked in the past. According to the company, this privacy feature will make the Instagram account more secure by guiding users whose accounts may have been hacked, through the steps needed to secure them. This includes checking login activity, reviewing profile information, confirming the accounts that share login information and updating account recovery contact information such as phone number or email.Facebook-owned social media app Instagram via blog post said, “Security Checkup is another way that we are working to keep Instagram accounts as secure as we can. But there are several other steps that we recommend everyone also take to make their account even more secure”.The photo-sharing app has shared some steps that will make the Instagram account more secure. The first step is the two-factor authentication, the users are strongly recommended to enable the TFA using WhatsApp in certain countries. Besides this, the users can also enable TFA using their phone number, or an authenticator app like Duo Mobile or Google Authentication. Instagram has also detailed that people should update their phone number associated with your device by doing this if something happens to your account you can be easily reached by the company. These steps let you recover your account even if your info has been changed by a hacker. Instagram also stated that it never DMs any of its users. “Over the past few months, we’ve seen a rise in malicious accounts DMing people to try and access sensitive information like account passwords. Asus AIO 241e review: Design and Display
Out of the box, the Asus AIO 241e screams for attention. The gold outlook is very modern and premium. However, the edge to edge 24-inch display without any bezel is what takes the cake away. The front bottom has a golden panel, which has an HD camera, a couple of MICs and speakers.
Turn it around and you will find a flurry of USB 3.1 ports, HDMI in and HDMI our ports along with an Ethernet port. The power button can also be seen here on the right side. The bottom also has a mode switch (which can switch modes from PC to a set-top box or gaming console), a 3.5 mm audio port as well as an additional USB port, in case you want to connect a pen drive.
With the Asus AIO 241e, the users get full QWERTY with NUM pad wireless keyboard and mouse. They run on dual triple-A and single double-A batteries. Both work well for daily use, but in case you want to game, then you would want a better keyboard and mouse. The golden metal stands ads to the show on the AIO and with the golden keyboard and mouse, it just looks fantabulous.
Coming to the display, we went gaga over it. Asus AIO 241e comes with an anti-glare FHD LED display that can protrude sharp imagery and vivid colours. It has a 16:9 aspect ratio and 250 nits of peak brightness. We played a lot of Netflix videos as well and YouTube content and the AIO did not disappoint us. The sound compliments the display perfectly in the form of 3W x 2 speakers.
Asus AIO 241e review: Performance
When it comes to the technical specifications of the Asus AIO 241e AIO, the PC has an Intel Core i5 11th Gen CPU with a clock speed up to 2.4 GHz. The machine also comes with 8 GB RAM, 256GB SSD (PCIe), 1TB HDD and an onboard graphics unit. Ethernet, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 built on Windows 10 Pro are also there.
Overall, we found the Asus AIO 241e to be quite good. We played games like DOTA 2 and CS: Go on it and both ran between 60-90FPS with ease on high settings. There is almost no bloatware and Asus has done a good job to optimise this AIO. The best part about this AIO is that you can connect an external device such as the Xbox or the PlayStation and play games using its large screen. A 90W power adaptor comes in the box and that is the amount of energy this AIO consumes. Which when compared to a regular desktop is much less.
The keyboard and wirelessmouse work well and we had no problems with them for regular office use. We did a few office meetings on the Asus AIO 241e, too, and the results here were desirable too. All in all, a good machine for office or entertainment needs.
Verdict
Asus has done a very good job in designing the Asus AIO 241e. We loved the golden look and feel. The machine is quick, loads applications and software swiftly and there is hardly any lag. At Rs 64,990 the machine can very well be your next buy if you are in the market looking for a desktop PC that will cater to your office needs, but not consume a lot of power. The only thing that can be better here is if the RAM was 16GB in the same price bracket.

Users will get an estimation of how long their trip is going to take, and if their bus is delayed. Google Transit will automatically update the times in line with the new conditions,” He further added, that the Status of around 3,000 buses is live. More DTC buses will be integrated soon so that people in Delhi will be able to plan their journeys to the minute. Therefore, reducing waiting time will also help in reducing crowding at bus stops and increase the accountability of public buses. As per the minister, Delhi will join the league of global cities that provide seamless real-time information of public transport.

Firstly open Google Maps on Android or iOS devices.
Now enter your destination and tap on the GO icon
Then enter the ‘Source’ and ‘Destination’ locations.
Tap on Transit, a tram-like icon to view times, bus numbers, routes, and real-time arrival information highlighted in green or red colour.
Further tapping a recommended route will allow you to view more information on the route’s stops.
Whereas hitting the bus stop will let you see a listing of all arriving buses, where relevant real-time information is depicted by the green or red beacon.
One can also access real-time bus information by searching for a particular bus stop by clicking on its name and its listed bus numbers.
It will then show up a listing of all buses arriving, with the location-enabled buses displaying their real-time ETA.
The best part is the Google Map real-time bus service information feature is also available in Hindi so that the commuters in Delhi can navigate in their preferred language by changing the language in Google Maps settings or within the device language settings. Google has plans to expand this feature in other cities in the country and is currently working with the respective public transport services in other cities to enable the functionality.

We have also realised that the company should have cut down the front camera diameter just like its competition has.

When it comes to portraits, the photos look unnaturally yellowish or orangish around the subject’s face. But sharpness and dynamic range are natural and the subject’s face looks smoothened. Besides this, the camera app offers some cool image effects to play with but at times the edge detection is just not perfect when it comes to selfies.

Overall, we found the Asus AIO 241e to be quite good. We played games like DOTA 2 and CS: Go on it and both ran between 60-90FPS with ease on high settings. There is almost no bloatware and Asus has done a good job to optimise this AIO. The best part about this AIO is that you can connect an external device such as the Xbox or the PlayStation and play games using its large screen. A 90W power adaptor comes in the box and that is the amount of energy this AIO consumes. Which when compared to a regular desktop is much less.
The keyboard and wireless mouse work well and we had no problems with them for regular office use. We did a few office meetings on the Asus AIO 241e, too, and the results here were desirable too. All in all, a good machine for office or entertainment needs.
