Vivo X50 Pro+, Vivo X50 Pro and Vivo X50 have gone official this week in China. The Vivo X50 series is ready to get launched in India very soon. The company’s CEO, Jerome Chen has revealed this through his Facebook post however he did not reveal the exact timeline for the India launch. The new Vivo series comes with 5G support aligned with a hole-punch design display and an in-display fingerprint sensor.Vivo India Chief Jerome Chen took to Facebook to announce the arrival of its just-launched Vivo X50 series. His FB post reads, Light up the cities. X50 Series is coming on 1st June. Vivo X50 and Vivo X50 Pro pack a 4,200mAh battery and 4,315mAh battery with 33W fast charging support respectively.Whereas Vivo X50 Pro+ is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 with 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB storage. We already know that the Chinese premium smartphone company OnePlus is expected to announce OnePlus Z next month. This is going to be the company’s budget-friendly device after the launch of the expensive OnePlus 8 series. The mobile phone has now been benchmarked on Geekbench. In the past, some reports claimed that the tentatively called OnePlus 8 Lite will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1000. However now the company has switched to Qualcomm Snapdragon instead. In fact, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G powered device has been revealed on the new Geekbench listing.This fresh Geekbench listing has been spotted with an OnePlus device bearing the model number ‘AC2003′ indicating to be the rumoured OnePlus Z aka OnePlus 8 Lite. The mysterious OnePlus smartphone has scored 612 and 1,955 points on the single-core and multi-core tests respectively. The WinFuture report revealed that the said phone is going to run on Android 10. It is likely to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm processor clocked at 1.8GHz. OnePlus Z is expected to come in a 12GB RAM variant for the top-end model. The citing also revealed the codename for the motherboard as ‘lito,’ which matches up with another Geekbench listing for Oppo Reno 4. According to the listing, Reno 4 is going to draw its power by the same Snapdragon 765G SoC.Other than 12GB RAM the device is expected to be offered in lower and mid-range models as well, which could be 6GB and 8GB RAM. After Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg denied to act against US President Donald Trump’s post “when the looting starts, shooting starts”, several employees of this social networking giant registered a virtual protest on Twitter asserting that Trump’s post on Facebook could result in violence. In this rare protest, the Facebook workers changed with official profile pictures on Twitter.
The virtual protest by Facebook employees took place after Twitter had labelled Trump’s tweet for violating the Twitter Rules about glorifying violence. However, Twitter had determined that it may be in the public’s interest for the Tweet to remain accessible.
In the labelled tweet, Trump highlighted the protests and riots taking place in Minneapolis, Minnesota after the death of George Floyd in police custody on Monday. Calling the protesters “thugs”, the US President tweeted, “Just spoke to Governor Tim Walz and told him that the Military is with him all the way. Any difficulty and we will assume control but, when the looting starts, the shooting starts. Thank you!”
When the hidden tweet was reposted later by the official White House Twitter account, Twitter had once again labelled the post. According to a CNET report, “A Twitter spokesperson on Friday confirmed that it covered the identical tweet with a label because of the historical context of the last line, its connection to violence, and the risk it could inspire similar actions today.”
On the other hand, Facebook employees organized a virtual protest on Monday by walkout of office as they took a day off from work to join protest to show solidarity against Trump’s post. A report by The New York Times stated that the Facebook workers has also scheduled an automated message with their emailers stating that they were out of the office to show to show their support for demonstrators across the United States and that they do not go in line with the company’s position on Trump’s posts.

Tencent Games on Monday rolled out the Mysterious Jungle mode on PUBG Mobile. Prior to this, it released a new event called Summerland that is based on the current weather conditions Summers. The latest event brings exciting surprises such as rewards, fun-filled activities within the event. The developers have now explained all the events as well as the rewards of the Summerland event.According to the company all the events which come under the PUBG Mobile’s Summerland event have a certain time limit, below is the list of activities that are still available:
To begin with, the players are only required to complete log-in missions for a chance to win exciting rewards. Each day when the players log-in it increases their chances of winning exciting rewards. Jungle Adventure is going to be hosted June 1st and June 14 within the Sanhok map. The Hot Air Balloons can be used to search for Totems on the ground. Locating the Totems and interacting with them will grant players a Lost Trunk (each player can only obtain one per match). It is important to bring the Lost Trunk to the Rainforest Hunt page out of the match to open for random rewards, with an exciting chance to get Totem Fragments. When you collect all the seven Totem Fragments it can then be used to redeem the final reward. The event rewards include Battle Points, Ace Gold, and Summertime Hawaiian Shirt.
For online reward, the event will be live from June 4 to June 11. This is a time-consuming event to collect various rewards. In a day one can spend a total of 20 minutes in the game to win corn cover. To win a Corn suit one must spend a total of 30 minutes. On spending 40 minutes in the game the player can win Jungle M416.
Another vent is the Lucky Egg which will be hosted from June 12 to June 23. The plates have to complete three missions each day to win Lucky Hammers to smash eggs. To purchase Lucky Hammers one can also spend 30 UC. On completing all the three missions you get a chance to win an extra reward. Remember to make use of all hammers within the time period of the event as they will not be usable post the event period. After the SpaceX Crew Dragon arrived the International Space Station this Sunday, two new NASA astronauts Douglas Hurley and Robert Behnken are getting up to speed with space station systems and operations on their first full day as Expedition 63 crewmates.
NASA astronauts Douglas Hurley and Robert Behnken are also unpacking the Crew Dragon vehicle and integrating its systems with the space station. The newly-expanded Expedition 63 crew will now be ramping up microgravity research in the coming days and weeks.
In a news conference, the duo joined NASA Commander Chris Cassidy, who has been on orbit since April 9, to discuss about the historical nature of the first crewed Dragon mission, as revealed in an official blog post by the US space agency. As both Hurley and Behnken had earlier been a part of two space shuttle missions, the duo also described the differences between the Dragon crew ship and the now-retired shuttles. On the other hand, veteran astronaut Cassidy, who majorily spent time on ongoing lab maintenance activities, serviced research hardware and plumbing gear throughout Monday. Mind you! Cassidy also flew on two previous shuttle missions.
The two Roscosmos cosmonauts, Anatoly Ivanishin and Ivan Vagner, focused on science and routine operations in the Russian segment of the orbiting lab. They joined their NASA crewmates in the morning to review Crew Dragon emergency procedures. Afterward, the duo explored advanced Earth photography techniques and ways to improve space exercise.
Behnken is the joint operations commander for the mission, responsible for activities such as rendezvous, docking and undocking, as well as Demo-2 activities while the spacecraft is docked to the space station. He was selected as a NASA astronaut in 2000 and has completed two space shuttle flights. Behnken flew STS-123 in March 2008 and STS-130 in February 2010, performing three spacewalks during each mission. On the other hand, Hurley is the spacecraft commander for Demo-2, responsible for activities such as launch, landing and recovery. He was selected as an astronaut in 2000 and has completed two spaceflights. Hurley served as pilot and lead robotics operator for both STS‐127 in July 2009 and STS‐135, the final space shuttle mission, in July 2011.
At the conclusion of the mission, Behnken and Hurley will board Crew Dragon, which will then autonomously undock, depart the space station, and re-enter Earth’s atmosphere. Upon splashdown off Florida’s Atlantic coast, the crew will be picked up by the SpaceX recovery ship and returned to the dock at Cape Canaveral.

As far as Competitive Mode update is concerned, a blog post by Volarant 1.0 stated, “Similar to our closed beta launch, our initial focus is making sure our service is stable before activating competitive matchmaking. This is also a way to give new players the same courtesy that closed beta players had to learn the game ahead of turning on Competitive. We’ll also make some adjustments to Competitive based on remaining closed beta player feedback. Our plan is to turn on Competitive a few patches into our launch.”
In order to fix a number of performance issues, the team focussed on the framerate dips that players sometimes experience in combat. It was revealed that simpler scenarios, where very little is happening, may not see the same dramatic gains in FPS. These improvements should help the game feel smoother, especially in combat situations on higher-end PCs.

Continue to lift and rest your finger slowly, making small adjustments to the position of your finger each time.
The next screen asks you to adjust your grip. Hold your device as you normally would when unlocking it, and touch the Home button with the outer areas of your fingertip, instead of the centre portion that you scanned first. You can also try another finger if you have trouble enrolling one finger.

In Google’s latest “Feature Drop” for pixel smartphones, the tech giant has announced that it is bringing latest updates to the Personal Safety app, Adaptive Battery improvements along with new Bedtime feature in Clock.
As new pixel features have dropped, Google Pixel user get more options to keep themselves safe in an emergency. In a blog post, Google revealed that The Personal Safety app on Pixel 4 will now be available on all Pixel devices and car crash detection is also coming to Pixel 3.
“We’re introducing new safety features, too, like safety check, which schedules a check-in from the app at a later time. For example if you’re about to go on a run or hike alone, safety check will make sure you made it back safely. If you don’t respond to the scheduled check-in, the app will alert your emergency contacts. In the event that you need immediate help or are in a dangerous situation, emergency sharing notifies all of your emergency contacts and shares your real-time location through Google Maps so they can send help or find you,” Tok Tokuda, Technical Program Manager at Google, stated in a blog post.
Moreover, Google Pixel users can enable crisis alerts in the Personal Safety app to get notifications about natural disasters or other public emergencies to be ultra-prepared.
Apart from updates to the Personal Safety apps, Google has also features Adaptive Battery improvements for its Pixel phones. The tech giant notifies that Adaptive Battery already learns your favourite apps and reduces power to the ones you rarely use. Now, Adaptive Battery on Pixel 2 and newer devices can predict when your battery will run out and further reduce background activity to keep your Pixel powered longer. Isn’t this helpful?
Google has also tried to make bedtime better in this new feature rollout. It notified, “The new bedtime feature in Clock helps you maintain a consistent sleep schedule and strike a better balance with your screen time each night.” This feature will help Google Pixel users fall asleep to calming sounds by limit interruptions. However, the users will get a snapshot of how much time they are spending awake and on which apps if they stay up on their phone past bedtime. “DualSense marks a radical departure from our previous controller offerings and captures just how strongly we feel about making a generational leap with PS5. Within days after the launch of ‘Remove China Apps’, the creator OneTouch AppLabs, which is a Jaipur-based start-up, has now announced that its very first Initiative in direction of self-reliant India has crossed more than 1 million downloads. The app came in existence amid the growing anti-China sentiments in the country after engineer-turned-reformer Sonam Wangchuk made an appeal to the citizens of Indian to boycott Chinese products and “stop virtually financing the current military bullying in Ladakh and the South China Sea.”
According to Wangchuk, “If we citizens are clever we should use our wallet power rather than leaving it totally to our armies to respond with their bullets. The bullet response is what China is looking for as it helps unite its angry citizens to forgive the mistakes and forget the economic hardships caused by the regime’s poor handling of COVID 19.”

Besides this, OneTouch AppLabs also clarified that detecting the country of origin of smartphone apps via ‘Remove China Apps’ is purely based on the market research. Therefore, the start-up does not guarantee for any correct or wrong information, so users should act only at their own will. Furthermore, Remove China Apps application identifies and showcases the installed application name only. All trademarks and/or copyrights and/or patents are the property of their respective owners.
Currently available only to Android-powered smartphone users, ‘Remove China Apps’ measures 3.5MB in size and is a free-to-download app. If you are wondering how you can access this app? Amid the ongoing COVID-19 lockdown, popular file-sharing app WeTransfer is now reportedly ban in India as the Central government’s Department of Technology (DoT) has cited the national security and public interest reason behind this. The app which came handy for people working from home to transfer huge files online is no more accessible by users of Reliance Jio, VodaFone and Hathway. However, WeTransfer website can still be used by Airtel customers.
According to a Mumbai Mirror report, “In an order dated May 18, the telecom department directed internet service providers (ISP) to ban three specific website URLs. The first two are specific pages of WeTransfer, while the third is the entire website. It is unclear as to what is contained in the first two URLs as the website is currently banned by several ISPs, but banning WeTransfer entirely is a perplexing decision.”
Several WeTransfer users have taken to Twitter to report their inability to access the website as it creative massive problem for those working from home.

Besides this, there are reports that those users who are unable to access the WeTransfer page get a message stating, “You are not authorised to access this webpage as per the DoT compliance” or simply “This site can’t be reached… The connection was reset… Try: Checking the connection… ERR_CONNECTION_RESET.”
While We Transfer, which was founded in 2009 as the simplest way to send big files around the world, has tweeted, “Hey! We are aware that WeTransfer seems to be blocked and unavailable in India. Stating that WeTransfer is currently unavailable in India, the company said via its Help Center on the official website, “Our aim here at WeTransfer has always been to provide a way for every single person on the planet to get their transfers from ‘A’ to ‘B’ with as little hassle as possible – and we do everything we can to keep our high standards in place. However, at this moment in time, WeTransfer seems to be blocked and unavailable in India. We are working hard to understand the reasoning behind this block, as well as how to get it reverted as soon as possible.”

An Indian Security researcher, Bhavuk Jain won a $100,000 bounty from Apple on finding a critical bug within its Sign in with Apple. Now patched the bug could allow hackers easy access to the user’s account. The 27-year-old developers revealed this via his blog post. He claimed, “For this vulnerability, I was paid $100,000 by Apple under their Apple Security Bounty program.”Apple has fixed the critical flaw and paid $100,000 that translated to Rs 75 lakh as a part of the Apple Security Bounty program. To recall last year in 2019 the company announced Sign in with Apple that gave access to the users to simply Sign-in into third-party apps and websites using their Apple ID. This way is said to be the most secured as well as private sign-ins than Google or Facebook. The company assures the users that Sign in with Apple keeps the user’s data safe while other social sign-ins may collect user’s private information this means the users are allowed to sign up with apps and services anonymously without having to reveal their Apple ID.However, Bhavuk Jain claimed that In April this year he found a zero-day in Sign in with Apple that affected third-party applications which were using it and didn’t implement their own additional security measures. According to him, this could potentially allow hackers to fully take over any account linked to it such as a third party application irrespective of a victim having a valid Apple ID or not. The Sign-in with Apple supports applications such as Dropbox, Spotify, Airbnb, Giphy.Image Courtesy: Blog/bhavukjain.com“The Sign in with Apple works similarly to OAuth 2.0. There are two possible ways to authenticate a user by either using a JWT (JSON Web Token) or a code generated by the Apple server. The code is then used to generate a JWT.” The JWT contains the mail ID which is then used by the 3rd party app to log in a user. He further identified that JWTs for any Email ID from Apple and when the signature of these tokens was verified using Apple’s public key, they showed as valid. This means an attacker could forge a JWT by linking any Email ID to it and gaining access to the victim’s account.According to him, this vulnerability was quite critical as it could have allowed a full account takeover. When Apple learnt about the bug it also did an investigation of their logs and determined there was no misuse or account compromised due to this vulnerability.

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has issued its new recommendations on “Developing a Unified Numbering Plan for Fixed Line and Mobile Services” in order to augment the numbering resources for Fixed-line and mobile services in India. Which means from now on the users in the country have to prefix “0” before dialling a number from a landline or fixed-line connection. “The total number of telephone subscribers in India stands at 1177.02 million with a tele-density of 87.45% at the end of January 2020. Resultantly, we find ourselves in a situation where we need to review the utilization of the numbering resources and make some policy decisions to ensure that adequate resources are available for sustainable growth of the telecommunication services,” TRAI stated.According to the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India, these recommendations are based on the inputs received from the stakeholders and its own internal analysis, the Authority has finalized these recommendations. The recommendations comprise four chapters. Chapter 1 provides a background to the subject. Chapter 2 deals with the measures which can be taken for generating adequate numbering resources. Chapter 3 deals with the present allocation criteria of numbers and associated issues. Chapter 4 provides a summary of the recommendations.From now on it is mandatory to prefix “0” before calling a regular mobile number from a fixed-line connection. At the moment both fixed line numbers and mobile numbers consist of 10 digits, excluding the country code. Calls within the local area are defined as local calls. In this open numbering system, 6 to 8 digits are required to be dialled for a local call from a fixed-line to another fixed line, but 10 digits (SDCA code+ Subscriber number) need to be dialled for national long distance calls with a dialling prefix ‘0’. In order to access a call from a landline to a mobile number now, you are required to prefix “0” even within a service area. It is important to note that this does not apply when you are dialling mobile to a landline, mobile to mobile or landline to landline.Another big recommendation includes switching from 10 to 11 digits in case of regular mobile numbers. The allocation is done in batches of 10 MSC codes, which caters to 1 million subscribers.Next important recommendation is that those mobile numbers being allotted for mobile data or dongles to be shifted to 13 digits. Currently, all mobile numbers associated with the dongles and data cards have a 10-digit numbering scheme. With the latest recommendations include switching from 10 to 13 digits.“DoT has already allocated 13-digit numbers for M2M communication. It is also possible to 20 shift these data only connections (SIMs4 used for data cards, dongles and other devices used only for the Internet access) to 13-digit numbering series since these devices are not used for making PSTN voice calls. It is also possible to provide private-numbering series for these numbers by the cellular mobile operators (which is internal to their network). This will release some of the numbering resources blocked by the operators.” TRAI stated.The fixed-line levels ‘3’, ‘5’, and ‘6’, are grossly underutilized. The total number of basic telephone connections in level ‘2’ is 12.260 million and that in level ‘4’ is 4.315 million (as on 31st January 2020). By sparing the underutilized levels ‘3’, ’5’, and ‘6’, and moving them to a sub-level of ‘2’ or ‘4’, several million numbers can be used for mobile numbers.

Flipkart will be offering up to 80 percent discount on budget phones from brands like Xiaomi, Motorola, Redmi and Poco.
The company will be giving away Tablets as low as Rs 4,299 form brands like Samsung, Lenovo, Honor among others. Apple iPad Mini, Pro Air and more will be available at Rs 26,999
There will be up to 75 percent discount on home appliances such as mixers, washing machines, refrigerators, etc. Huawei smartwatches and bands will be available with up to 60 percent off for a limited period of time. Budget smartwatches from Noise, AMazefit and more starts at Rs 999. Gaming consoles will be available as low as Rs 21,999 that includes PS4 and Xbox One.
As mentioned earlier the sale is live now and will conclude on June 3, 11:59 pm (midnight).
