The Ola Hypercharger network will be a chain of more than 10,000 charging points in around 400 cities in India. The charging points will be installed at a variety of public places like parking lots, malls, Information Technology parks, colleges, and hospitals. According to Ola, the Hypercharger network will be “the largest and densest electric two-wheeler charging network in the world”.

The company claims that a Hypercharging point shall be able to charge an Ola electric scooter up to 50 per cent within 18 minutes. Thus, with just 18 minutes of charging, the vehicle will traverse around 75 kilometres.
How will the Ola Hypercharger network function?
The Hypercharger will be an optimised network spread across the country so that the charging points are easily accessible. The Hypercharger network will even consist of automated multilevel charging systems so that the space occupied by the charging nodes is minimum un densely populated areas. The network will be integrated with a dedicated smartphone application.
According to Varun Dubey, head of marketing at Ola Electric and Ola Financial Services, “We have also built navigation features. If you are going from point A to B, our app would automatically know whether you have enough charge”.
The Ola Electric mobile application will tell the owners about their two-wheeler’s charge in real-time. When there is a need to charge their vehicle, the app will find the route to the nearest charging point. The online payment system will help the users evade the hassle of manual payment by cash or card. Ola Electric is also working on a home charger for the Ola electric scooter owners. Using this charger, two-wheeler users can conveniently charge their vehicles at home overnight.

Instagram has been resolving issues raised by communities across the globe regarding bullying, women safety, and child safety. Recently, some football players in the UK complained regarding the racist comments they received as direct messages in the app. The DM section does not offer automated tools to filter messages as offered by the comment section. As a result, the company wants to check the usage of the app for harassing others via direct messages. Instagram will add features to filter message requests and even block the senders.
This is not the first time Facebook has stood against harassment. To prevent harassment of children through the Instagram app, Facebook has been working on a platform for kids under 13. The company has created a new team to develop a dedicated version of Instagram for kids. This platform will be launched as a separate application offering parental control features and strict regulations against the collection of kids’ data. Instagram’s terms of use permit only people above 13 to create an account. The company does not want the children to get deprived of the positive aspects of social media.
How will Instagram’s new anti-harassment feature of direct messages work?
Instagram’s new feature will allow the users to block requests from users that they find to be rude, abusive, or harassing. Moreover, they can block the senders to prevent all messages requests in the future. The app will enable the users to preemptively block new accounts that may be created by a particular sender. This step will defeat the efforts of those users who target others using multiple accounts.
Instagram may also add a new tab to keep message requests from those users who he/she does not follow. This feature will keep the chats separate from message requests. Only when the user accepts a request, will it appear in the messages. Instagram may also add a filtering tool to automatically hide message requests carrying offensive text or emojis. Facebook has collaborated with anti-bullying organisations to develop a dictionary of offensive words for automated filtering of message requests. The users may customise the library and add their own words that they perceive as offensive.

To enable this setting, go to Settings > Face ID & Passcode and toggle the Unlock with the Apple Watch option on. FaceTime and phone call features
The new iOS 14.5 will enable Siri to notify you regarding the incoming calls when you’re wearing your AirPods. Moreover, Siri will read out the messages in your AirPods. To make calls to emergency contacts, you will just need to say “Siri, call my emergency contact”. Siri will also support group FaceTime calls. You may provide the list of contacts that you wish to include in the FaceTime Call. You will have the flexibility to ask Siri to call a particular group in iMessage.

Apple iOS 14.5 will come with an updated version of Siri that will offer two new voices. Instead of providing the default female voice, users will be asked to choose the desired voice for Siri. The new iOS 14.5 update will allow you to cast your iPhone or iPad to a TV using the AirPlay 2. You’ll be able to view your workout schedules on any display compatible with AirPlay 2. However, you will be able to view the Apple Watch metrics on your iPhone or iPad but not on the larger screen.
