Oppo A92 with Snapdragon 665 chipset and quad rear cameras launched: Pricing and specifications

Oppo finally announced the official launch of its new smartphones in the market. The company launched Oppo A92 in Malaysia, which was also recently spotted on an Indonesian e-commerce website for pre-orders. The device looks similar to rumoured Oppo A72 in design aspects and according to the company Oppo A92 will be rebranded as Oppo A72 and to arrive in select markets with that name. The newly launched smartphone comes with a hole punch design display, a 5,000mAh battery with fast charging support, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor and has a quad-camera setup at the back. Oppo A92 specifications

Oppo A92 Features a 6.5-inch full-HD+ LCD display with a hole punch design, 1,080×2,400 pixels of resolution and 405ppi pixel density. It will run on ColorOS 7.1 based on top of Android 10 OS. Under the hood, there is an octa-core Snapdragon 665 processor paired with an 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

In terms of camera capabilities, Oppo A92 comes with a quad rear camera set up that includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with  119-degree field-of-view, a 2-megapixel monochrome lens and lastly a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies, there is a 16-megapixel front-facing camera sensor inside a hole punch.

Moreover, there will be a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support to fuel it up. Oppo A92 comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for biometrics and also includes dual stereo speakers and has Dirac Stereo 2.0 sound effect. It measures 162×75.5×8.9mm and weighs 192 grams.

The Chinese smartphone company has introduced Oppo A92 in Malaysia. The device is said to reach some other markets both as A92 as well as with a rebranded name A72. The device has been launched in a single RAM and storage variant of 8GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage option. The Oppo smartphone will be available with a price tag of MYR 1199 that translates to Rs 21,000. The handset will be available in two colour options Twilight Black and Shining White and is has been listed on the company’s website for pre-orders and is said to go on its first sale from May 9.

Huawei received certification for its privacy information management system by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC)

In March this year, the electronics giant Huawei introduced its much-awaited Huawei P40 series via an online launch event. The range of smartphones includes three mobile handsets namely Huawei P40, P40 Pro and P40 Pro+. At the time of the launch event the company’s CEO, Richard Yu announced that its latest EMUI OS has received the ISO/IEC 27701 certification for its privacy information management system, becoming the world’s first smart mobile device vendor to obtain the certification.

Recently, the Chinese smartphone company Xiaomi again came under scrutiny for silently sending user data to remote servers. Xiaomi is the leading smartphone company in India and now security researchers claim that there have been loopholes in its handsets that can transmit the user’s data to remote servers hosted by Alibaba. Both Redmi, as well as Mi phones, were found recording the web history of its users even when they have switched to “incognito” mode. Xiaomi has denied all the allegations of tracking anonymous web data and says it does not share it with any third parties. However, this is not the first time when the company was found to be recording the user’s browsing data without their permission. In the past, it has faced the same allegations by the Indian Air Force and still, this did not impact its business in India. Nonetheless, this issue has raised serious concerns over user’s privacy and security on Xiaomi smartphones. 

Huawei EMUI OS has received the ISO/IEC 27701 certification for its privacy information management system, becoming the world's first smart mobile device vendor to obtain the certification.

Looking at all the privacy controversy, Huawei has released a copy of the obtained certificate ISO/IEC 27701. According to the company, it is a privacy protection standard jointly released by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). The ISO/IEC 27701 standard is an excellent practice of the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which is recognized as the strictest privacy protection regulation in history. To obtain the privacy protection compliance certification, a company is required to build security capabilities based on the standards, meet all requirements and pass the review of third-party authorities.

The certification includes various aspects of a design, development and maintenance services of the EMUI system and its application software, including more than 50 apps and features that involve sensitive data processing, such as software update, emergency location service, system application, user experience improvement plan and intelligent service provided by Huawei EMUI.

For instance, the company will be collecting only relevant data from the device pertaining to its reliability, performance, power consumption and faults of features of user experience along with improvement plan. According to the company,  the user’s personal data will be sent to Huawei only after users’ explicit consent is obtained. To anonymize collected sensitive personal data, Huawei uses the differential privacy technology to add random noises to the data.  

The company said, “Huawei takes cybersecurity and privacy protection as its top priority and integrates privacy protection into the entire process, from the very beginning of product design and throughout the entire software R&D process, and technology and personnel management. Its user privacy protection has been certified by multiple authoritative organizations around the world, including ePrivacyseal GmbH, one of the most influential commercial entities conducting privacy certification in Europe. Huawei Device software has obtained the ISO/IEC 27701 certification, which proves that Huawei Device meets international privacy standards in terms of software design, R&D, and maintenance, as well as personnel management, safeguarding the security and privacy of consumers.”

Amid the controversies revolving the butterfly keyboard, Apple has now updated its 13-inch MacBook Pro with the new Magic Keyboard to provide best typing experience ever on a Mac notebook. Along with this, the new line-up, which costs Rs 122,990, also offers 10th-generation processors for up to 80 percent faster graphics performance and makes 16GB of faster 3733MHz memory standard on select configurations.

“Whether you’re a college student, a developer, or a creative pro, the 13-inch MacBook Pro delivers powerful performance, a stunning Retina display, and all-day battery life in our most portable pro notebook. We’re adding the new Magic Keyboard, doubling the standard storage, and boosting performance, making the 13-inch MacBook Pro an even better value for our customers,” said Tom Boger, Apple’s senior director of Mac and iPad Product Marketing.

The updated 13-inch MacBook Pro now features the new Magic Keyboard, first introduced on the 16-inch MacBook Pro and added to MacBook Air in March. Magic Keyboard features a redesigned scissor mechanism with 1mm of key travel for a comfortable and stable key feel, while the new inverted-“T” arrangement for the arrow keys makes them easier to find, whether users are navigating through spreadsheets or playing games. Magic Keyboard also features a physical Escape key, along with Touch Bar and Touch ID, for a keyboard that delivers the best typing experience ever on a Mac notebook.

Moreover, Apple has also doubled the storage capacity of the 13-inch MacBook Pro. The 13-inch MacBook Pro now comes with double the storage of the previous generation, with standard storage starting at 256GB all the way up to 1TB, so customers can store even more photos, videos, and files. And for pro users who need even more storage capacity for large photo libraries and video projects, the 13-inch MacBook Pro now offers up to a 4TB SSD.

Besides this, the 13-inch MacBook Pro line-up by Apple now offers up to 10th-generation quad-core Intel Core processors with Turbo Boost speeds of up to 4.1GHz. Customers who are upgrading from a 13-inch MacBook Pro with a dual-core processor will see up to 2.8 times faster performance. The integrated Intel Iris Plus Graphics deliver up to 80 percent faster performance over the previous generation 13-inch MacBook Pro for 4K video editing, faster rendering and smoother gameplay. Additionally, the new graphics also enable users to connect to Pro Display XDR at full 6K resolution.

In addition to this, 16GB of faster 3733MHz memory is now offered as a standard configuration on select models, and for the first time on a 13-inch Mac notebook, customers can choose a 32GB memory option. With 32GB of memory, users will experience better performance while running multiple virtual machines and up to 50 percent faster performance when editing gigapixel images in Photoshop.

Apple’s 13-inch MacBook Pro has a sleek aluminium unibody design that comes in space grey or silver and weighs just 3 pounds. Its 13-inch Retina display delivers more than 4 million pixels and millions of colour along with 500 nits of brightness and support for the P3 wide colour gamut. The 13-inch MacBook Pro also comes with speakers that provide incredibly immersive wide-stereo sound, Touch ID for easy login and secure online purchases, Touch Bar with dynamic and contextual controls, and the industry-best Force Touch trackpad for precise cursor control and Multi-Touch navigation.

The South Korean electronics giant Samsung has begun taking orders across various categories of electronics appliances. Today the company has announced Stay Home, Stay Happy pre-booking orders in which it will be offering up to 15 per cent cashback offers along with no-cost EMI offers when the lockdown ends. This move came after the Ministry of Home Affairs announced relaxations to the e-commerce platform to begin the sale of electronic as well as non-essential items products that come under green and orange zones.

The company has ensured that it will be taking precautionary measures to reduce the risk of spreading the novel coronavirus by allowing the consumers to pre-book the products without having to step out of their homes. The company has begun taking orders for all its electronics items until all its retail shops open. The customers can now pre-book digital appliances until May 8 via Samsung Shop. 

Samsung says, “The program, ‘Stay Home. Stay Happy… Log in to Great Offers’, applies to all Samsung consumer electronics products – Televisions, Refrigerators, Air Conditioners, Washing Machines and Smart Ovens. Consumers can pre-book products on Samsung Shop till May 8th, 2020, and get up to 15% cashback, and avail no-cost EMIs with long term finance options of up to 18 months, besides Express Delivery.”

On pre-booking appliances such as Smart TVs, refrigerators, washing machines, smart ovens as well as tandoors. The customers can avail up to 15 percent cashback using HDFC Debit and Credit Cards as well as no-cost EMIs and long-term finance options for up to 18 months are also available. Customers are entitled to cashback even if they do not opt for EMI-based finance options. Those who pre-book Samsung televisions will get 1+1 extended warranty on the panel along with a 30-day trial offer of ZEE5 Premium pack. In order to offer a plug-and-play approach for the cloud radio network connection that will enhance efficiencies, India’s largest integrated telecommunications company Airtel along with Sercomm , a leading manufacturer and supplier of telecom equipment, have now announced the launch of world’s first vRAN-based TDD small cell.

With Split Option 2 technology, the distributed unit (DU) utilizes various broadband links as a backhaul connecting to the cloud-based radio network. By adopting an open, distributed and split RAN (Radio Access Network) architecture, Aitel can efficiently upgrade from 4G to 5G path.

There has been a lot of rumours being churned out by rumour mills. Now the first alleged renders of the smart band have surfaced on the web and will come with upgraded features as well as with a bigger display than its predecessor Mi Band 4. To recall Mi Band 4 was launched last year in 2019.

Mi Band 5 alleged live images have been leaked on the web to give us the first glimpse of the upcoming smart band being jointly developed by Xiaomi and Huami. To give it a new look the company has given the Band 5 an oval display with a punch-hole design. Surprisingly the device will be featuring a camera housed inside a hole-punch display.

The publisher said, “it seems to be too large considering the small display, so it could really be something else or perhaps a totally fake set of photos.” By looking at the images the smart band is seen with a grey coloured strap and might be available in more colour options. Whereas come reports claim that the Mi Band 5 will feature a colour AMOLED panel with brighter with better contrast for comfortable reading even under the direct sunlight.

The previous reports and rumours around Xiaomi wearable suggest that it will get NFC support to all its variants. This feature is available to all the existing Chinese variants of Mi Band. A report appeared in October last year also suggested the same feature to come to Mi Band 5. Moreover, the report also revealed that the Band is going to feature a 1.2-inch screen a bit larger than the current Mi Band 4 models. The device is likely to support multiple payment options such as Google Pay, and many more. This time the all NFC support will not be limited to the Chinese variant. It will support contactless payments, work pass and can be used as a bus card also.

After Facebook, Jio Platforms, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Reliance Industries Limited, has now announced that Silver Lake will pump in Rs 5,655.75 crore into Jio Platforms. This investment values Jio Platforms at an equity value of Rs 4.90 lakh crore and an enterprise value of Rs 5.15 lakh crore and represents a 12.5 percent premium to the equity valuation of the Facebook investment that was announced in April.

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi is reportedly working on its new smartphone. According to some reports, the company will soon launch a device under its sub-brand Redmi. The device will be called Redmi K30i and several rumours have been floating on the web for the past several days revealing the specifications of the upcoming Redmi smartphone. Recently the device was spotted on the Chinese regulatory website TENAA revealing some of the key details of the Xiaomi’s next. Now, the smartphone has been found inside the latest MIUI system code confirming the existence of the device.

To expand its smartphone portfolio soon Xiaomi is going to launch a new device Redmi K30i. This is said to a toned-down variant of the Redmi K30 5G smartphone. As per a report by XDA Developers has been spotted in MIUI Camera app.  A string of new characters related to Redmi k30i has been found inside the camera system code suggesting the camera details of the upcoming device. The device was spotted with a “Picasso” codename mentioning  “back_picasso_48m.” This confirms that the smartphone will be backed by a 48-megapixel primary sensor instead of 64MP from the standard variant. Moreover, it revealed that the device will be featuring a quad rear camera set up. An internal document leaked earlier also revealed that the company is planning to bring an affordable 5G device. Furthermore, it revealed that the device was set to launch in late April with a price tag of 1,799 Yuan that translates to Rs 19,300.

But some rumours suggest that Redmi K30i is likely to come with a price tag of RMB 1,000 that translates to Rs 10,700. If rumours are to be believed this would be cheapest 5G smartphone being offered at the cheapest pricing under its latest Redmi K30 series while retaining some of the features of its K30 series. As we mentioned above the device has also been spotted on the TENAA website with model number M2001G7AE. In terms of device, the device will look similar to Redmi K30 5G.

As per the listing, the K30i will feature a 6.50-inch display and will be powered by Snapdragon 765G processor. It will be available in two variants 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage and 8GB RAM with 128GB of onboard storage option. Additionally, it will pack a 4,400mAh battery and a 48-megapixel rear camera.

Xiaomi refutes claim that Mi Browser unnecessarily collects users’ data

In response to a recent article by Forbes on April 30 which claims that Mi Browser collects unnecessary information while browsing and sends the user data to other countries, Manu Kumar Jain, Vice President of Xiaomi and MD of Xiaomi India, refuted the claims saying that “This is incorrect and not true.

In a statement on Twitter, Kumar explained that “First and foremost, as an internet company, Xiaomi takes user privacy extremely seriously. Mi Browser follows similar protocols as any other leading browser in the world.”

“In incognito mode, all user data is completely encrypted and anonymised. Mi Browser will never know what you browse in incognito mode and can’t identify you basis incognito browsing. The usage data that is logged is used to make you experience better,” added Kumar.

Asserting that using Mi Browser or any Mi internet product is perfectly safe, Manu Kumar Jain revealed that Xiaomi does not collect any information that user does not have given any explicit consent to. Moreover, he notified that all Mi Browser and Mi Cloud data of Indian users is stored locally in AWS servers in India.

In another blog post on Xiaomi website, the company provided detail on how it collects data and protects user privacy. According to Xiaomi, “There are two types of data collection:

  1. Collection of aggregated usage statistics data – Data (such as system information, preferences, user interface feature usage, responsiveness, performance, memory usage, and crash reports) is aggregated and cannot alone be used to identify any individual.

An example of usage scenario: The URL is collected to identify web pages which load slowly; this gives us insight into how to best improve overall browsing performance.

  1. Syncing of user browsing data – An individual’s user browsing data (history) is synced when:
  • The user is signed in on Mi Account; and
  • The data sync function is set to “On” under Settings

An example of usage scenario: To provide users quick access to previously viewed websites when users switch between different devices after logging in to their Mi Accounts.”

Under incognito mode, user browsing data is not synced, however, aggregate usage statistics data (mentioned in point 1 above) is still collected.

Stating Xiaomi’s goal of providing world class secure services and products to all users, the company said its next “Mint Browser and Mi Browser software update will include an option in incognito mode for all users of both browsers to switch on/off the aggregated data collection, in an effort to further strengthen the control we grant users over sharing their own data with Xiaomi.” The software updates would have been submitted to Google Play for approval on May 3.

As we already know that OnePlus Z is expected to arrive in July this year. There have been lots of rumours around the Oneplus upcoming device. Earlier the device was said to get launched alongside the company’s latest OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro device. However, OnePlus Z could not make off. Recently the live images of the device were shared by a website and now we came across some more details about the smartphone through the same tipster who declared the timeline for the OnePlus Z launch.

Earlier reports claimed that to cut down the cost of the OnePlus next smartphone the company will go for a MediaTek processor instead of a Qualcomm for 5G connectivity. But now the tipster Max J shared another image of the OnePlus Z revealing that the device will continue with the Qualcomm processor and the handset will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 SoC with 5G support.

A previous report of 91Mobiles in association with Ishan Agarwal also revealed even before Max J could that the OnePlus 8 Lite will be coming in July this year. Moreover, they also opened up about the pricing as well as the expected specifications of the smartphone. Those who are unaware of OnePlus next service is tipped to be the Lite variant of its latest OnePlus 8 smartphone. But some other reports claim that the company will begin where it left OnePlus X in 2015. That is how it will be called the OnePlus Z.

Coming back to the specification and pricing details the OnePlus 8 Lite? OnePlus Z is said to come with a price tag of  GBP 400 (approximately Rs 37,500). The Indian pricing might differ for the other countries therefore it could cost lower in the India market.

In terms of specifications OnePlus 8 Lite is suggested to come with a centrally placed hole-punch for the selfie camera and the display is said to feature a 90Hz refresh rate. The Lite variant is reportedly to have a MediaTek chipset, which may be the Dimensity 1000 SoC. Moreover, it is expected to sport a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint sensor. 

According to the reports the smartphone will run on Android 10 OS. For imaging, it is expected to feature a triple rear camera sensor with a 48MP primary sensor, a 16MP secondary lens, and a tertiary 12MP sensor. It is rumoured to get a 4,000mAh battery with 30T Warp fast-charging support. The device will be offered in two variants of 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB of RAM and storage options.

  • Launch the WhatsApp Messenger app on your device
  • Open calls tab next to the status tab and then tap on the call button from the bottom right corner.

  • Just before the contacts, you will find a New group call option 
  • Now hit on the New group call option and begin adding participants to which you want to connect through a group video or voice call. 
  • You can only add up three participants from your contact list for a group call.
  • When you are done adding contacts that will be displayed on the top of the list you can either tap on the phone and video camera button to make a group voice or video calls respectively.

As several reports have hinted that Apple is going to delay the unveiling of its much-anticipated iPhone 12 series owing to the novel coronavirus pandemic, now a new leak about the upcoming 5G-enabled iPhone device has revealed that the price will likely be less than what Apple fans had to pay for the iPhone 11 series.

According to popular tipster Jon Prosser the base model of the upcoming 5.4-inch iPhone 12 will be priced at $649 (approx. Rs 49,000) while the 6.1-inch iPhone 12 is likely to be priced at $749 (approx. Rs 56,500). On the other hand, Prosser also mentioned that the 6.1-inch iPhone 12 Pro will carry a price tag of $999 (approx. Rs 75,400) while the 6.7-inch iPhone 12 Pro Max might cost the Apple fans $1,099 (approx. Rs 83,000). It worth mentioning that Apple iPhone 11 is up for grab for Rs 64,900 while the iPhone 11 Pro is available for Rs 99, 900 at Croma.

In the leak, Prosser tweeted that the iPhone 12 series will enjoy 5G support. Moreover, the 5.4-inch and 6.1-inch iPhone 12 variants will likely be equipped with an OLED display along with two rear cameras. As far as the pro models are concerned, both the 6.1-inch iPhone 12 Pro and 6.7-inch iPhone 12 Pro Max will be fitted with OLED display along with three cameras as well as LiDAR sensors.

From what we could understand, Apple might plan a lesser price for its iPhone 12 device as against the iPhone 11 as smartphone sales across the globe has slumped drastically owing to the coronavirus pandemic. However, talking about the price of iPhone 12 in India, it is likely that the device might cost you more owing to the heavy import duties. Samsung cuts down prices of Galaxy M21 and Galaxy A50s in India

After the implementation of Modi-led government’s new GST rate for phones, the major smartphone players like Samsung, Apple, Xiaomi, etc. had hiked the prices across segments. However, now news is rife that the prices of Samsung Galaxy M21 and Galaxy A50s handsets have been slashed in India.

According to 91Mobiles, the prices of both Samsung Galaxy M21 and Galaxy A50s the handsets were increased last month after the government has introduced new GST rate increase. Looking at Samsung Galaxy M21 smartphone, it was discovered that the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model was priced at Rs 14,222 then, while the 6GB RAM+128GB storage variant was selling for Rs 16,329. However, now the reduced price of 4GB RAM+64GB storage variant is Rs 13,199. On the other hand, the 6GB RAM+128GB storage model of Samsung Galaxy M21 comes for Rs 15,499 on the company’s online official store in India.

As far as Samsung Galaxy A50s is concerned, the increased prices of the 4GB RAM+128GB storage variant and 6GB + 128GB variant were Rs 21,070 and Rs 26,900, respectively. Now, the prices of both the model of Samsung Galaxy A50s has been reduced as the 4GB RAM+128GB storage variant and 6GB + 128GB model can be taken home for Rs 18,599 and Rs 20,561, respectively. Mind you! The newly updated prices have been clearly listed on Samsung India website.

If you are wondering about the status of deliveries, it is important to note that the devices can be handed over only in green and orange zones as of now as the lockdown period owing to COVID-19 pandemic has been extended till May 17 by the Government of India.

Notably, the new ruling from the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) allows e-Commerce companies to gradually resume selling non-essentials products like smartphones and laptops only in green and orange zones. However, red zones will continue to witness deliveries of essential products only.

Recently, Samsung has reported financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2020. Total revenue was KRW 55.33 trillion, a decrease of 7.6 percent from the previous quarter mainly due to weak seasonality for the Company’s display business and Consumer Electronics Division and partially due to effects of COVID-19. From a year earlier, revenue rose 5.6 percent due to increasing demand for server and mobile components.

Google Pixel 4A makes way on GeekBench database ahead of launch

Google is known for giving its Pixel brand funky internal names or codenames based on fish. In February, XDA Developers had spotted the sunfish code-name in a string in the Google app alongside other Pixel devices. It was, then, reported that this code-name likely pertains to the Pixel 4A. Now again, a device known as Google Sunfish along with some specifications has made way on the GeekBench database. It is believed that this device with Android 10 OS is the Pixel 4A.

Apart from being powered by Android 10 OS, the device listed on GeekBench database features 6GB RAM along with an octa-core Qualcomm processor with a base frequency of 1.80Gz.

Besides this, Geekbench didn’t lift curtains off any other specifications. However, news is rife that this upcoming device Google Pixel 4A will derive its juice from a 3,080mAh battery along with 18W fast-charging feature. Moreover, the Pixel 4A is expected to come equipped with a 5.81-inch OLED display that has a full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels.

As far as camera is concerned, a punch-hole at the upper-left corner of Google Pixel 4A is fitted with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. On the other hand, the handset is likely to be packed with a single 12-megapixel rear camera along with sensor and LED flash fitted in a square-shaped box. Besides this, there will be a 3.5mm headphone jack, Type-C charging, rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and Google Titan M security chip.

Google Pixel 4A, which is expected to be launched with 64 GB and 128 GB storage capacity, has rumoured to be rolled out in Just Black and Barely Blue colour options. Moreover, The Pixel 4A is said to be powered by a Snapdragon 730 processor and the benchmark score is within the range of other SD 730-powered smartphones.

Apart from Google Pixel 4A, rumour mills have reported that two other Pixel devices are expected to be launched this year. The second in the list, Redfin, has previously been claimed to feature a slightly more powerful, Qualcomm Snapdragon 765. Apart from just affording the phone more power, it will also make the device 5G ready as the chipset comes with a built-in 5G modem. While the third device that is expected to see the light of the day is has been codenamed as bramble which again is said to feature the Snapdragon 765. However, we are yet to discover how it is different from Sunfish as far as other specifications are concerned.

In order to marks another step toward bringing the benefits of AI to the digital transformation of the agreement process, DocuSign, which offers eSignature solution as part of the DocuSign Agreement Cloud, has announced the closing of its acquisition of Seal Software, one of the leading contract analytics and artificial intelligence (AI) technology providers.

“Seal’s technology and value proposition can now be more comprehensively integrated across the DocuSign Agreement Cloud—the company’s suite of applications and integrations for automating and connecting the entire agreement process. By adding Seal to our growing portfolio, we are enhancing the agreement process through the use of AI-driven analytics and machine learning technology,” said Scott Olrich, DocuSign’s COO.

In a blog post, DocuSign revealed the acquisition of Seal allows the company to deliver more AI and analytics capabilities, both now and in the future. Besides this, DocuSign is providing a broader range of purpose-built AI models for needs like data privacy, Brexit, LIBOR, and analyzing agreements for COVID-19-related risks such as “force majeure” clauses, stated the company.

As far as work from home is concerned, DocuSign is helping organizations expand eSignature availability so people can conduct business from home, as well as helping HR and IT support employees’ at-home work. “In response to work-from-home needs, we’ve been supporting wider rollouts of eSignature within organizations, allowing more at-home workers to remotely conduct business that requires signing agreements,” notified DocuSign.

In March this year, the Chinese electronics major launched its new flagship series Huawei P40. Alongside the smartphone series the company also introduces new smart wearable Huawei Watch GT 2e and its first wireless speaker Sound X. We don’t have any information about when the P40 series and the wireless speakers are coming to India but the company’s latest smartwatch is all set to go on sale in India after the lockdown is lifted that is sure. 

The smartwatch got listed accidentally on the e-commerce Flipkart’s website as well as its official Huawei India website. However, before we could gather more information the listing on the e-commerce website was removed. The listing almost revealed all the specifications of the upcoming Huawei Watch GT 2e. 

According to the Flipkart’s listing, Huawei Watch GT 2e will be available for purchase in India with a price tag of Rs 19,990.

The price is much higher than  Huawei Watch GT 2 that is available at Rs 14,990. However, Flipkart’s pricing is not confirmed as the company is yet to announce the smart wearable device officially. The Huawei smartwatch will be available in two variants Active and Sport and the e-retailer listed both the option along with colour options it will be available in. The company introduced Huawei Watch GT 2e in three colour options Graphite Black, Icy White, and Mint Green.

Huawei Watch GT 2e features a circular 1.39-inch AMOLED touchscreen display with 454×454 pixels of resolution. Without the strap, it comes with a stainless steel body and weighs 43 grams. The smartwatch is powered by in house Kirin A1 wearable chipset that is also available on the previous models Watch GT 2 and FreeBuds 3 truly wireless earbuds. The chipset is coupled with 4GB of onboard storage and is 5ATM-certified for water and dust resistance and can be used while swimming and other sports activities. For navigation, it comes with two side-mounted buttons. For real-time tracking, the smartwatch has GPS support.

The Huawei smartwatch offers 15 professional workout modes that include outdoor running, cycling, climbing, swimming, hiking and many more. Over that it supports other features such as 85 custom workout modes,  incoming calls notification, SMS and email from the connected devices. In addition to this, there are health-related features to keep a tab on the user’s health using the Blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) monitoring, sleep as well as stress monitoring.

Oppo A92 is the upcoming new addition to the company’s A-series. Recently the company launched a couple of phones including some from the same series. Oppo A92 reportedly leaked online which is said to be the company’s upcoming smartphone. Recently we came across some of the specifications of the device that is said include a quad rear camera and a 5000mAh battery. Now again the device specifications, as well as pricing, has been leaked on the web and the device is now up for pre-orders via an Indonesian website even before its official launch.

The Oppo A92 has been spotted on Indonesian website Lazada. According to the listing, the device is now up for pre-orders and will be available with a price tag of IDR 3,999,000 that translates to Rs 20,100 and is bundled up with a pair of free wireless earphones. Whereas another listing shows the device with a price tag of IDR 4,499,00 that translates to Rs 22,600. As per the listing, the device is now up for pre-orders and will be available in three colour options Twilight Black, Aurora Purple and Shining White.

The Oppo A92 listing includes all the key specification details but misses out a few details which might get clear once the company officially announces the launch of the smartphone. The device features a 6.5-inch full-HD+ LCD display with a hole punch design, 1080×2400 pixels of resolution and with 405ppi pixel density. The smartphone will be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 665 processor coupled with an 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It will runs on ColorOS 7.1 based on top of Android 10 OS.

For optics, Oppo A92 features an L shaped quad rear camera set up placed on the top left corner of the back panel. The camera setup includes a  48-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel macro lens and lastly a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies, there is going to be a 16-megapixel front-facing camera sensor inside a hole punch.

Moreover, there will be a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support to fuel it up. As per the listing, Oppo A92 will sport a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It will measure 162×75.5×8.9mm and weighs 192 grams.

Black Shark 3 and Black Shark 3 Pro to get launch on May 8

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Black Shark is all set to launch its new gaming smartphone in the European market. This time the company is going to launch two new smartphones Black Shark 3 and Black Shark 3 Pro. The new series of gaming devices is now scheduled to arrive on May 8 to the other markets. To recall the smartphones were introduced earlier in March this year. Both the flagship devices come with a 90Hz display, powered by Snapdragon 865 chipset and a triple rear camera set up consisting of a 64-megapixel primary sensor.

Black Shark has announced that the 2020 gaming range of smartphone Black Shark 3 and Black Shark 3 Pro are making their way to Europe next week on May 8. The company revealed the information via its official website. The smartphones will be available for open sale on the same day.  

The devices were launched in China this year in March. In the Chinese market, the Black Shark 3 retails at CNY 3,499 (approximately Rs 37,360) whereas the Pro model comes at CNY 4,699 (Rs 50,173). The pricing of both gaming smartphones is a bit higher than its predecessor but is much affordable than other devices being offered by other brands.

Black Shark 3 comes with a bezel-less design with 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 1,080×2,400 pixels of resolution and packs a 270Hz touch sampling rate along with 90Hz refresh rate. 

Whereas Black Shark 3 Pro features a larger 7.1-inch Quad HD+  AMOLED display with 1440×3120 pixels of resolution. It offers a 90Hz refresh rate, 270Hz touch sampling and an in-display fingerprint scanner.

Under the hood, there is a top of the line octa-core Snapdragon 865 processor paired with 12GB RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.0 storage. The pro model houses a 5,000mAh battery whereas the vanilla variant comes with a 4,720mAh battery. Both the batteries are supported by 65W wired fast-charging.

For shutterbugs, both Black Shark gaming devices sport a triple rear camera set up with the same camera sensors. The camera set up includes a 64MP primary sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 5MP depth sensor. For selfies both the smartphones come with a 20MP front-facing camera.

After being spotted on Google Play listing, now the pricing of the device has been leaked on the web suggesting a global launch soon. The upcoming Poco F2 series is going to be the rebranded variant of Redmi K30 series. In the past, we came across so many leaks related to the Poco F2 series. The upcoming series is going to succeed the company’s very popular Poco F1. 

The company is now tweeting a GiF with a hashtag #WakeUpPoco. This is supposed to be the company’s new marketing strategy indicating the arrival of its new variants. This means that the all-new Poco F2 series is going to hit the shelves soon. However, the shared teaser did not reveal the launch date of the device,  but it might happen later this month. The teaser has been posted on the company’s  Global Twitter account so the Poco F2 Pro is expected to get a global launch and will be available in India also.

The pricing of the upcoming device also got leaked hinting the arrival of the smartphone. The pricing has been tipped by a Portuguese publication suggesting that Poco F2 Pro will be offered in two RAM and storage variants. The pricing of the device has been shared by its trusted source that  “guaranteed” the prices. The 6GB of RAM with 128GB storage variant will be available with a price tag of  EUR 649 that translates to Rs 53,300 whereas the 8GB of RAM with 256GB of storage model has been priced at EUR 749 that translates to Rs 61,600. If these are the actual prices for the Indian market then it will be tough to sell here, so we think the prices will be somewhere near what is below.

The Poco F2 Pro is speculated to be a rebranded variant of Redmi K30 Pro. The smartphone was launched later in March this year with a price tag of CNY 2,999 (around Rs 32,500) for the  6GB with 128GB variant while the 8GB with 128GB option and the 8GB + 256GB model comes at 3,399 CNY (around Rs 36,000) and CNY 3,699 (around Rs 40,000) respectively. 

If these rumours and leaks are to be believed then Poco F2 Pro will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The device is expected to run MIUI 11 based on top of Android 10 OS. The smartphone will be 6.67-inch full-HD+ HDR10+ AMOLED display with 1,080 x 2,400 pixels of resolution and 1,200 nits of peak brightness.

It will feature a quad rear camera setup that will include a 64-megapixel primary sensor, a 5-megapixel macro lens, a 13-megapixel wide-angle sensor with 123-degrees of Field of View and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. It will get a 4,700mAh battery support with 33W fast charge.

The American smart wearable manufacturer FitBit is now working on its next wearable product. The next release from the company will be a 4G enabled wearable for the kids. Yes, the Fitbit smartwatch for kids is in the pipeline and would be the company’s offering specifically for youngsters. However, the company did not confirm the device, but a report by Engadget confirmed that the company is working on a kids smartwatch.

Fitbit acquired Hong Kong-based company Doki Technologies that already produced the world’s first smartwatches for kids with video calling capabilities. The company recently notified that it is going to stop working on its products from July. Whereas recently Fitfit has been acquired by Google and the deal may take some time to complete. The search giant acquired Fitbit just after the smartwatch company bought Doki. 

Google announced that it is going to buy Fitbit for $2.1 billion (approximately Rs. 15,000 crores). In the past, Doki has manufactured kids smartwatches such as dokiWatch, dokiWatch S and dokiPal. The interesting feature that Doki’s platform offers is the inclusion of a SIM card giving 4G cellular coverage to kids without having to connect to your smartphone. Before Fitfit had to seek help from other companies for 4G coverage. Doki’s self-built platform comes with safety tracking features, video calling and voice calling via mobile app. 

If these rumours are believed then the Fitbit’s upcoming kids wearable will come with 4G connectivity. It will help the parents to keep a check on their kids all the time. The children can make a call to their parents similar to Spacetalk’s kids smartwatch also allowing parents to leave a message for them. The last Doki’s device is Dokipal which included a physical “Doki SIM” that offers unlimited data to more than 50 countries at  $9.99 per month. It is still unclear if the company is going to come up with all the features for the Fitbit kids smartwatch.

To recall, Fitbit launched smartwatches for kids Fitbit Ace in the year 2018 and Fitbit Ace 2 was introduced last year in 2019. Both the devices come with features such as activity tracker, recording steps active minutes, 5 days of battery life as well as monitoring sleep patterns. But these devices lacked cellular connectivity for tracking and communication.
