Microsoft has released a new feature in the Skype Desktop app called active noise cancellation. This new feature will enhance the experience of Skype voice and video calls by optimally reducing the background noise. According to Skype, “We are pleased to announce the release of our latest background noise suppression feature in the Skype desktop app. Originally developed for Microsoft Teams, this new feature is designed to silence just about everything except for your voice when you’re meeting on Skype.”

How does this feature work?

Skype revealed that this technology of active noise cancellation works on Machine Learning. When the user speaks in a voice or video call, the voice signals are sent through the microphone. The audio feed is analysed and feed to deep neural networks that cancel the noise without compromising the voice quality. According to Skype, “This technology relies on machine learning (ML) to learn the difference between clean speech and noise and is frequently referred to as artificial intelligence (AI). A representative dataset is used to train the ML model to work in most of the situations our Skype users experience. There needs to be enough diversity in the dataset in terms of clean speech, noise types, and the environments from which our users are joining online calls”.

We are looking to support and equip 20 creators with resources they need to bring their ideas and creativity to life”.

The selected creators will receive a monthly salary of around $5,000. They will have the choice to pick up to three gears among booking guests, mentorship, recording features, and analytics. OnePlus recently made announcements regarding the launch of the OnePlus 9 series on March 23. The OnePlus Global launch event will begin at 8:30 PM IST on March 23, 2021. What features can we expect in the OnePlus 9 series?

The upcoming OnePlus smartphones will come packed with enhanced cameras as compared to the OnePlus 8 series. The OnePlus 9 will have a triple camera setup at the rear while the OnePlus 9 Pro will offer four cameras at the back powered by Hasselblad. According to OnePlus, “The two companies have already been cooperating on the revamped camera system – Hasselblad Camera for Mobile – for the new OnePlus 9 Series, set to launch globally on March 23”. OnePlus asserted that the OnePlus 9 series will come with a Sony IMX789 sensor that would be the most advanced sensor ever installed on an OnePlus smartphone. The 12-bit RAW would enable the device to capture vibrant colours. The OnePlus 9 series will take 4K videos at 120FPS and 8K videos at 30FPS video. According to OnePlus, “Now, through close R&D collaboration, OnePlus and Hasselblad will work together to deliver vastly improved camera systems on future OnePlus smartphones, including the upcoming OnePlus 9 Series,”.

The OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro smartphones are expected to run the powerful Snapdragon 888 processor and outstanding Fluid AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. You will get 12GB RAM, 156GB of storage, and 5G connectivity. The OnePlus 9E/9R will run the Snapdragon 690 chipset and will sport a triple rear camera setup. The display will offer a 90Hz refresh rate that would be powered by a 5,000mAh battery.

We can expect the Poco X3 Pro to arrive in the Indian markets at around Rs 21,000. According to the company, “It’s crazy that we are in 2021 and not a single phone launched at the price of the F1 that has been able to match or beat its performance”. In the international markets, the 6GB RAM smartphone may be available at around 250 euros while the price of the 8GB RAM smartphone may hit around 300 euros.

Owing to its features, the new Poco X3 Pro is expected to be an enhancement to the Poco F1. The Poco F1 includes features such as the Snapdragon 845 chipset and 4000 mAh battery supported by the Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+. The smartphone is reported to run the Snapdragon 720G chipset with 6GB/8GB of RAM. The Galaxy A72 may be powered by a 5,000 mAh battery with 25W fast charging. The device will operate on the Android 11 operating system and may have 128GB/256GB of secondary storage. For the above features, the Galaxy A72 may cost around $600.

The smartphone may have a quad-camera setup at the rear (a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide, 5MP, and 2MP ) and a 32MP selfie camera located at the centre of the screen. Featuring. It will feature a 64 MP primary camera and will run on the Android 11 operating system. The Galaxy A52 is also expected to be launched in either LTE or 5G version. The Galaxy A52 may be powered by a 4,500 mAh battery with 25W fast charging. Based on the above features, the Galaxy A52 may be launched at $200.

PUBG Mobile is celebrating its 3rd anniversary. On this occasion, the publishers of the game are releasing its new update named ‘PUBG Mobile 1.3’. The game is expected to come with several new features including Clowns Tricks gameplay and the Hundred Rhythms game mode. According to a tweet by the PUBG MOBILE, “The 3rd Anniversary – Hundred Rhythms 1.3.0 Update is NOW LIVE! Use mesmerizing music abilities in Hundred Rhythms Mode to take your defences and attacks to a whole new level. Hop into the game and try it out now!” The new PUBG Mobile 1.3 update will come with the following new features.

1) Hundred Rhythms Event

PUBG Mobile 1.3 update comes with a new event named ‘Hundred Event’. This mode is set in the Erangel map where players will have a set of three unique skills based on the chosen Armband, namely, Guardian, Recon, or Camouflage. The Guardian Armband offers strong abilities to the player. The latter-two are not active skills and only give buffs to the players. The players begin with core skills that can be upgraded be achieving ‘cassettes’. According to the patch notes, “Hundred Rhythms arrived in Erangel, get the party started at the electronic music festival. The Music Armband grants three special skills. Choose a skill that suits you, upgrade the skill by collecting scattered cassettes, and dominate the battlefield with the help of your skill. Choose Erangel in the map selection screen to experience this exclusive gameplay mode”.

2) Mosin-Nagant weapon and Motor Glider vehicle

The Mosin-Nagant in the new update is a sniper rifle with 7.62mm bullets capable of eliminating an unarmored enemy from a long distance. The new Motor Gliders will allow the players to fly over the opponents. You can find the motor gliders in Erangel and Miramar. The Motor Glide vehicle utilises the fuel based on the speed at which you fly. The faster you fly, the more fuel it will consume.

Solution 1: Make sure Microsoft Teams has permission to use the webcam

Windows 10 requires you to offer permissions to the apps for using the system components like webcam and microphone. You can permit the Microsoft teams app for using the webcam in the following steps.
  • Go to Start > Settings > Privacy > Camera
  • Turn on the Allow apps to access your camera option.
