While in China, the Redmi General Manager Lu Weibing took to Weibo to confirm that a 32MP selfie camera Redmi phone is indeed in works. He also asked the users to guess the name of the phone. The 32MP selfie camera will be the Redmi Y3’s main focus point similar to the Redmi Y2, which was also a selfie-centric device with 16MP front camera. But since the Redmi Y2 had the name of Redmi S2 in China so the upcoming Redmi Y3 could be launched with the name of Redmi S3 in the Chinese market. The 32MP camera of the Redmi Y3 can be Samsung’s 32-megapixel ISOCELL Bright GD1 image sensor. The Samsung’s 32MP sensor was announced last year in October 2018 alongside the 48-megapixel ISOCELL Bright GM1 sensor which was used in the Chinese variant of the Redmi Note 7.You never run out of juice.
