The buttons have also been redesigned and enlarged for ease of use. The watch will be available in 5 new aluminium casings with a new variety of bands. The new retina display has a larger screen area as well, which looks beautiful and is brighter.

The battery remains the same as the apple watch 6 with up to 18 hours of battery. The battery can be charged 33% faster than the previous version with an updated fast charger that can charge the Watch in 8 mins for 8 hours of sleep tracking. Features

With the launch of the new Apple Watch Series 7 the company introduced redesigned OS for the watch to utilise the bigger display, the watch supports all the sports modes paired with Apple Sports+. The new OS has the support of a small keyboard in the UI that utilises the bigger display and can come in handy for replying to texts on the go. It can show the user their ECG, has cycle mode to know the speed one is riding at and has fall detection. The Watch is WR50 waterproof, making it ideal for surfing. With 100% recyclable aluminium the new watch is more durable and has IP6X dust resistance, too.

A few months ago, we came across and reviewed the Oppo Enco X and were absolutely smitten by the nifty pair of wireless TWS earphones. Now the company is out with its younger sibling in the form of Oppo Enco Buds. We took them out for a run, played a few games and also attended a Zoom meeting with it. So how did they perform? Oppo Enco Buds review: Design

In the (large for these TWS) card box exterior, you get a pill-shaped sparkling white charging case kept in the middle. Pull it out and you will see twin Oppo Enco Buds earphones inside. The charging case is well built and not flimsy at all like we have seen with some of the Realme wireless earphones. Apart from the LED indicator, the case also has USB Type-C charging port but the cable is not part of the box. Oppo-Enco-Buds--charging-port Users only get two extra silicone tips (large and small) and a quick start guide in the box, other than the Oppo Enco Buds and its charging case. To keep the costs low and also lessen the carbon footprint there is no charging cable or charger in the box. Both the Oppo Enco Buds are also dressed in pearly white and get magnetically fixed within the charging case. Pull them out and you will find them to be really light. Each weighs about 4 grams and the case weighs 37 grams. The Oppo Enco Buds fit nicely in the ear and create a vacuum so that they do not fall off, even when you are running. The exterior of the Oppo Enco Buds also has feather touch controls on them. You can tap to pause/play songs, double-tap to go to the next song or triple tap to turn the game mode on/off. Both the earbuds have microphones on them and connect to the device/smartphone simultaneously using binaural BT transmission.

Oppo Enco Buds review: Performance

These are a really sweet piece of earbuds in a budget. When we wanted them to sing they not just sang, but brought the thump with them. The engineers at Oppo have done a superb job. The amount of bass one gets from Oppo Enco Buds is exceptional. We tried a couple of apps like Spotify and Amazon Music with them and at each step, they amazed us. No matter what kind of music you are into these nifty audio earphones will deliver. They are good for binging Netflix shows too. So next, we tried them with games like BGMI and COD: Mobile. Since Oppo has built them for gamers as well, we had to give them a go with our favourite games. Oppo says it has 80ms super-low latency (when game mode is on), we could feel the effort made. When compared to others in the bracket these came out to be on the podium. The shot to sound latency in a game is extremely low and we enjoyed our time playing FPS games with it. Oppo-Enco-Buds-review-1 There are 8MM dynamic audio drivers in each of the Oppo Enco Buds and as said they are good for music, voice calls and even gaming. Bluetooth 5.2 is supported, and they have a range of 10M. We tested it out and the sound was good up to 8 meters without walls, but with walls or doors in between the range reduces to about 4.5 meters. Both the Oppo Enco Buds have a 40mAh battery inside, which the company claims to last for 6 hours. This is just about right. We got about 5.5 hours of playtime from them, after which we had to put them back in the case. The case with its additional 400 mAh battery can provide between 17-19 hours of added playback time. In case you are in a hurry, just put them to charge for 15 minutes in the charging case and you will end up getting 60 minutes of playback time.

Verdict

These are plug and play earbuds. By that we mean you can instantly connect them with any BT smartphone or laptop. These also have the capability to auto-connect with an Oppo phone when the case opens. The total charge time of the case with Oppo Enco Buds inside them is about 3 hours. Also, these earphones come with IP54 dust and water resistance rating. One thing we were expecting from them was more comfort. The plastic exterior is not super comfortable, but just about fine. So, at a price of Rs 1,799 are they worth buying? That is a definite yes. If you are looking for good (less expensive) wireless earphones for music or gaming, you can buy them without a doubt.

It’s almost time for upcoming Apple products in the market. The company already announced its upcoming event to be held in California, which will be streamed live. While it’s not been revealed what products are to be released at the event. But we can surely tell that one of them will be the iPhone 13 release event. Here are some expected specifications of the iPhone 13 series.

The iPhone 13 series had multiple leaks earlier to its launch. Just like them, another one appeared with colour options and storage availability. iPhone 13 will be available in Black, Blue, Pink, Purple, PRODUCT (RED), and White colours. For now, the phone is tipped to come with two storage options 128GB and 256GB. On the other hand, iPhone 13 Pro could be offered in 128GB, 256GB and 512GB storage options and will be available in premium Black, Silver, Gold, and Bronze colours. The same can be expected of the iPhone 13 Pro max. We can also expect some design changes that include a slimmer notch, which was achieved by placing the infrared flood illuminator, sensor and dot projector in a single module, a bigger camera and thicker chassis to include a larger battery. Though the design language will be the same as the current iPhone 12 series. The camera module will have a diagonally placed camera for iPhone 13 and is expected to have a large module to carry a bigger sensor. iPhone 13 Pro is suggested to feature a six-element lens up from the five-element lens on the iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max. Ming-Chi Kuo is believed to be a famous analyst who expects that the ultrawide lens on iPhone 13 Pro will get support for autofocus for the first time.  In addition, the primary camera lens will feature an f/1.5 lens, as compared to the f/1.6 on the current iPhone 12 models. This will allow for better night shots and bokeh images and videos. It will also feature the LiDAR sensor and sensor-shift stabilisation as well. Battery and Display

Powering the phone will be a bigger 3,095mAh battery. Compared to the older current-gen iPhone 12 and 12 Pro gets a 2,815mAh battery. Even if the upgrade is not massive the new chipset which will be A15 bionic will be a lot more battery efficient as compared to A14 bionic in the current gen. The rest of the details of this new chipset is unknown but according to the leaks, it will be based on the same 5nm architecture.  The display of the phone may get a new module as well. A new superior 120Hz LTPO panel can be expected to have an under-display fingerprint scanner for enhanced security. Price

The “California Streaming” event will be on September 14 i.e tomorrow and will be conducted online at 10:30 PM IST. It will be exciting to see what other products are launching and the exact specifications of the new series. The pricing and release date in India is still under wraps by the company, but referring to the current models the iPhone 13 series could be available from Rs 79,900 all the way up to Rs 1,59,900 for the top Pro/Pro Max variant. Battlefield Mobile game will be accessible for Android Beta users soon
Electronic Arts the publisher of popular titles will now be making Battlefield Mobile game available in beta for Android users in the coming week. As per the recent FAQ, the company has begun testing Battlefield Mobile beta for Android in the Philippines and in Indonesia. So the Android version is expected to be available from next year.  To recall, the Battlefield Mobile game was announced back in April. The mobile game is still under work but the company has itself confirmed that it will be launching next year. But as of now, the developer will be rolling out a beta version to more regions and players. Once it arrives the interested gamers will be available to register for the beta on the Google Play Store. However, this may be limited and will be accessible through invitation.  According to Battlefield publisher EA, it will be steadily rolling out Battlefield Mobile starting with a series of smaller play tests in Indonesia and the Philippines. The first of these begins Autumn 2021, and will only be available on Android devices. The company will further expand the size of these tests, add new regions. Once the game is ready to be expanded to more people and regions it will launch a page that allows you to pre-register for the game and sign up for news about future play tests. Because Battlefield Mobile is being built especially for mobile, it won’t feature cross-play with any console or PC versions of Battlefield.  Battlefield Mobile game will be accessible for Android Beta users soon According to the publisher, once the game is available in your region you will be able to pre-register for it on your local Google Play Store page, and you’ll be informed automatically when the play testing opens up in your area. The Sweden-based music streaming platform, Spotify, has announced a new feature for its Premium subscribers. The Spotify Enhance feature will be offering personalised suggestions of tracks that can be added to the playlists by the eligible members only. The users will get a dedicated button for this which can be seen on top of each playlist on the app. When the users enable the switch all the recommended songs will be added to this playlist.  The Spotify Enhance feature has been announced by the company exclusively for the Premium subscribers on the audio streaming app for a personalised recommendation of songs to be added to their playlist if they liked the suggestions. Right now Spotify will allow you to add up to 30 recommended tracks to their playlist on their Spotify app. The personalised suggestions of tracks are highlighted after every two songs. “Starting today, Spotify is rolling out Enhance, a new feature for Spotify Premium users to easily add personalized recommendations to their playlists,” the company stated.

According to the company, the songs you add will never be replaced, and you can turn Enhance feature off with a simple tap. After Mark Zuckerberg revealed his “metaverse” concept a few months back, the company has released a pair of smart sunglasses collaborating with Ray-Ban. The glasses are called Ray-Ban stories by Facebook. Unlike Facebook’s experimental project Aria or Google Glass, Ray-Ban Stories do not feature any built-in displays or crazy AR software. They will help you shoot hands-free videos using two discreet 5MP cameras on both sides and three microphones.  Even with these pairs of cameras and microphones, they won’t replace your traditional smartphone. The frames also pack two personal speakers for taking calls or listening to music, similar to Amazon’s Echo Frames for your multimedia experience. Ray-Ban Stories frame lets you shoot a quick 30-second video as soon as you press a small shutter button on the frame. These videos and photos are stored within the Ray-Ban Stories, which are Encrypted claimed by the company. To download them one can use a companion app named Facebook View. It can be a convenient and stylish alternative to capture your day to day routine. Do not expect the glasses to match the quality of a GoPro. Ray-Ban offers the glasses with clear or prescription lenses, so you’re not stuck buying a pair of shades that could make calls and capture photos or videos via voice command. But like all Facebook products, Ray-Ban Stories raise a lot of questions about privacy, even if the Glasses have a recording indicator light and a power button built-in. The point is about the privacy of others. There are tons of opportunities for an individual to misuse it as the glasses blend in quite well. People have been using online-based backup services in WhatsApp for quite a while now. For Android users, the service is provided by Google Drive and for Apple it is iCloud. WhatsApp claimed that they have no access to these backups and are secured by the individual cloud-based storage services. The accuracy of this claim was unknown and it has been a weak link in WhatsApp security for a long time. But now the company has fixed it with end-to-end encryption in the cloud backup. The company gave all its users the option to encrypt their chat backups to the cloud, getting this done was a big challenge that required an entirely new framework for key storage and cloud storage across operating systems, said Facebook’s chief executive Mark Zuckerberg in a post announcing the new feature. WhatsApp made a system to enable its users on both Android and iPhone to lock their chat backups with encryption keys. The company also claimed it will give users two options to encrypt their backup. The feature introduced is completely optional for the users. Consumers will soon see an option of generating a 64-bit digital encryption key to lock their backup. They will have an option to either save the backup online or offline in a password manager of their choice. 64 bit encryption Read Also: How to backup your iPhone The other option for the users is to create a password that backs up their encryption key in a cloud-based “backup key vault” that WhatsApp has developed. The password set by you won’t be known to WhatsApp and cant be used without one logging in. The company knows that some will be using a 64-bit encryption key whereas others want an easily memorable password, so they included both options. The only drawback of 64-bit encryption is that if the user loses their respective key there will be no way they can recover the chat backup.
