This incident happened in Bengaluru where a man ordered an iPhone 11 Pro via e-commerce website Flipkart. Instead of receiving the original phone he was delivered a fake phone. The man who orders the smartphone is an engineer named Rajani Kant Kushwah. He ordered a 64GB variant of the Apple iPhone 11 Pro. He also did make a prepayment of Rs 93,900 when he ordered the smartphone via Flipkart.
When the Bengaluru based engineer received the fake order from the e-commerce website and was asked as well as disappointed when he opens the delivered box. He received a fake Apple iPhone 11 Pro model, which had a sticker of the triple rear camera setup stacked on its back panel. The images, as well as videos of the fake phone, have also gone viral on the web. The phone looked like an iPhone but had different internal and it runs on Android instead of iOS.
This is not the first time when any customer reported any such incident where they have not received the product which they ordered. Many customers in the past have received detergent, soap, stones or even a brick when they ordered a phone and especially an iPhone. Many times, customers order an expensive product via e-commerce websites and they are only being cheated.
Recently, an online buyer in Kannur, Kerala ordered a camera valued Rs 27,500 and was delivered a box of tile. Another incident happened last year where a customer in Mumbai ordered an iPhone 8 and was delivered detergent instead of an iPhone.
Such an incident only raises concerns that the company is failing to stop the delivering of wrong and fake products to the customers without any thorough authenticity tests before the delivery.

Recently Samsung’s President Young Sohn announced that the company has managed to sell 1 million units of Samsung Galaxy Fold. But now the company’s spokesperson disaffirms the media reports on the statement released by the company’s president that it sold a million units globally.
Samsung’s spokesperson has released a fresh statement that denies what its company’s President said at a conference in Berlin with regard to the Samsung Galaxy Fold’s sales. To recall he said that, “And I think that the point is, we’re selling [a] million of these products. There’s a million people that want to use this product at $2,000.”
As per a report by a news agency the spokesperson now says that the Sohn might have confused the figure with the company’s initial sales target for the year. This clearly hinted that the company was not able to sell 1 million units of the foldable phone. The company expected to trade 5,00,000 Galaxy Fold across the world this year. Also, it was being analysed that the company will manage to sell around 4,00,000 to 5,00,000 units of Galaxy Fold this year.
Samsung introduced Galaxy Fold at MCW 2019 and went on sale in September with a price tag of $2000. In India, it arrived in September at Rs 1,64,999.
According to industry insiders, the sale of Samsung Galaxy fold will rise next year with a possible million units to be sold in 2020.
The report says that an analyst at Kyobo Securities, Choi Bo-young said, “Samsung is expected to sell 6 million units of its foldable phone in 2020 and 20 million units in 2021. He further added that “Prices of foldable phones are expected to go down gradually, and this would push up demand for foldable handsets.”
Besides this, the company is also working on another variant of Galaxy fold that would come with a clamshell design just like Motorola Razr. And is slated to have better technical specifications that the Moto Razr.

Motorola Razr expected to price in India
As for the global pricing the company announced that Motorola Razr will be available for purchase at $1,499 that translates to Rs 1,06,000 as per the Indian currency. Whereas Galaxy Fold is being sold at Rs 1,64,999. Until now Motorola has not revealed the pricing details for India that will only be released after it gets officially launched in India.

Authentic businesses which send messages to users will have a verified tag next to their name. This will help users identify texts from original businesses. The senders of these official messages representing brands, businesses, organisations etc will hold a verification badge with their sender id to identify important and genuineness of messages.
This feature will be available in 9 countries before the rest of the world. These countries are India, the United States, Mexico, Brazil, The UK, France, Philippines, Spain and Canada. For now, Verified SMSs will be available to messages from Google Pay and other verification codes. Google is working on including more brands and organisations to be included in this list.
Speaking about the necessity of verification, Roma Slyusarchuk, Software Engineer, Messages writes in a blog post, “SMS messages help businesses share useful information with consumers, things like one-time passwords, account alerts or appointment confirmations. Yet sometimes it can be difficult to trust the identity of these messages, which are often sent from a random number. Some messages may even come from bad actors pretending to be from businesses you trust and ask for private information or link to dangerous websites—this is called phishing.”
She further said, “Verified SMS for Messages, rolling out today in a number of countries, will help you confirm the true identity of the business that’s texting you.”
The other feature Google has announced is Spam protection. This feature will identify Spam messages by alerting users with a suspected spam notification. Users then get the option to either choose to report or not report spam. This helps users report spam messages and block spam message channels over SMS. This feature was first introduced in December 2018 since some time.
Google also released Rich Communication Service to its Android Messages app, which turns age-old SMS into interactive ones. Users now have the ability to send pictures and videos to their contacts with the ability to check if a message has been delivered.
Apple has acquired UK based startup, Spectral Edge limited. Spectral Edge limited has previously developed technology, which blends infrared shots with standard photos to produce crisper images in proper colours. Profile of the startup with details of the technology says that the tech can be embedded into software or in silicon. It can possibly enhance low light images and improving grainy footage. Apple can possibly integrate this technology into its AI for photography, making pictures clicked by its devices look even better than before.

Facebook-owned popular instant messenger app, WhatsApp, will soon stop being functional on certain devices. According to the app’s FAQ section, there will be several Android and iOS phones that will be unable to run WhatsApp because of the company withdrawing support for older mobile platforms.
According to the WhatsApp FAQ section, Android devices running on Android 2.3.7 and older operating systems while iPhones running on iOS 8 and older will not be able to run WhatsApp from 2020. Users will be unable to create new accounts and verify existing accounts from February 1, 2020 on these devices. Along with this, WhatsApp will withdraw support from all Windows phones starting December 2019.

Philips launched the HTL3320 and HTL3310 on December 11, 2019. The soundbars will be available soon across their partners very soon at Rs 20,990 and Rs 18,990 respectively. Both speakers come equipped with wireless subwoofers and support for Dolby Digital. The company claims that these speakers take the home theatre experience to new levels with rich and immersive surround sound.
Philips has also said that these soundbars are stylish and compact to boost audio performance irrespective of the device they are connected to, be it a Television, DVD player, game console or MP3 player. Philips has designed it in a way that users can easily place it on a wall or on the table.
Tech-wise, the new soundbars feature Philips Virtual Surround Sound to produce audio of high quality. The Audio-in feature on the Philips HTL3320 and HTL3310 allows users to play music of their choice directly from the device of user’s choice connected to the soundbars. Nokia C1 pricing and availability
HMD Global launched the Nokia C1 in Kenya for the entry-level market. The company has priced the smartphone at 6,000 Kenyan Shilling that translates to Rs 4200. The company has introduced the phone in a single 1GB RAM with 16GB of internal storage option. Until now there is no word from the company whether the smartphone will launch in India or not but will be available in Africa, the Middle East, and the Asian Pacific. The company introduced the phone in two colour options Black and Red.
Nokia C1 specifications
Nokia C1 draws its power from a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor paired with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The internal memory can be expanded using a microSD card up to 64GB. The dual sim phone features a 5.45-inch FWVGA+ IPS display with 960×480 pixels of resolution. The Nokia mobile phone runs on Android 9 Pie (Go edition). The smartphone also includes a dedicated Google Assistant button.
In terms of camera, Nokia C1 comes with a single 5-megapixel rear camera with f/2.4 of an aperture. While on the front there is also a 5-megapixel selfie camera for taking selfies and video chatting. Both the cameras include flashlight for taking better pictures during low light situations.
The newly launched HMD Global handset houses a removable battery with a capacity of 2500mAh. There is no support for 4G it only supports 3G connectivity. Besides this, the phone measures 147.6 x 71.4 x 8.7mm and weighs 155 grams.
The Chinese electronics brand Xiaomi today announced that it continues to be the number one smart TV brand in the third quarter of 2019 as per IDC’s latest Worldwide Quarterly Smart Home Device Tracker. According to the company Xiaomi shares 33 percent of the total market share for six consecutive quarters.
Xaomi said that MiTV has received 46 percent of Quarter-on-Quarter growth and 69 percent of Year-on-Year growth. As per IDC MiTV, market share is 19 percent greater than Samsung India whereas it shares a 20 percent greater market share than LG, with 20 percent more market share than Sony and 24 percent superior market share than TCL.

Xiaomi has launched the all new Redmi K30 in China on December 11. This successor of the Redmi K20 comes with a modified design and performance upgrades. The smartphone supports 5G as well. If rumours are to be believed, this phone will launch in global markets very soon.
However, Xiaomi has not launched the Redmi K30 Pro yet, the Redmi K30 Pro is supposed to launch in globally by March 2020. The Redmi K30 comes with both 4G and 5G variants.
Comparing the Redmi K30’s physical characteristics with that of its predecessor, the Redmi K20, Redmi K30 has a cleaner look with a gradient finish, being available in 4 colours compared to the bright design and colours of the Redmi K20. The Redmi K30 comes with a circular loop around the rear camera set up. The smartphone also has a punch-hole display setup. The Xiaomi Redmi K30 has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner in a stark difference to the Redmi K20, which had an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Performance wise, The Redmi K30’s 4G version has Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 730 chipset with a 4,500mAh battery, while the 5G variant comes with Snapdragon 765G processor. The Redmi K20, on the other hand, has a 730G GPU and is powered by a 4,000mAh battery. Both phones offer support for fast charging.
Camera wise, the Redmi K30 has a quad-camera setup with a 64MP Sony IMX686 sensor, with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP depth sensor and a macro lens of 5MP. The front possesses a selfie camera setup of 20MP and 2MP sensors. The Redmi K20 on the other hand, has a triple camera setup of 48MP, 8MP and a 13MP sensor with a pop-up selfie camera of 20MP.
Talking about the pricing of both the phones, the Redmi K30 is selling in China at a price of 1,599-1,999 Yuan that is approximately anywhere between Rs 16,500 – Rs20,500. The Redmi K20 starts at Rs 19,999 for the base model with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage, while the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage version has a price tag of Rs 22,999.

Apple has begun selling the 16-inch MacBook Pro in India. This version was released last month by the tech giant in the US. According to the company, the 16-inch MacBook Pro has improved specifications with a scissor keyboard replacing the Butterfly keyboard, which left much to be desired by users.
The all new Apple MacBook Pro 16-inch will be sold to customers through Amazon and Apple’s authorised retailers country wide.
The base variant has a 6-core 9th Gen Intel Core i7 processor and an AMD Raedon Pro 5300M graphic processor with 4GB of GDDR6 memory. This variant has 16GB RAM with 512GB storage. The display is of 16-inch with an LED-backlit retina display.
The other variant, with 1TB storage, meanwhile has an 8-core 9th Gen Intel core i9 processor and an AMD Raedon Pro 5500M processor with 4GB GDDR6 memory. This version of the MacBook Pro has 1TeraByte storage with a memory of 16GB DDR4 RAM. The display however, is the same at 16-inches with backlit Retina display. The battery of both variants is of 100 Watt-hours giving the notebook a battery life of up to 11 hours.
Replacing the previously used Butterfly Keyboard is the Scissor Keyboard or the Magic Keyboard, which has a refined scissor mechanism. This key board comes with an Esc button that was previously on the touch bar. The arrow buttons get more spacing with and inverted T design.

HMD Global announced that the roll out of the Android 10 operating system for Nokia 7.1. After the roll out of the new OS update for the other two Nokia phones Nokia 9 Pure View and Nokia 8.1 this is this phone which is getting the upgraded to Android 10. Nokia 7.1 is a part of the Android One Programme and the company promises three years of guaranteed monthly security update and two years of OS update. Redmi K30 4G and 5G specifications
Redmi K30 4G and Redmi K30 5G variant comes with different processors of Snapdragon 730G and Snapdragon 765G SoC respectively. The phone runs on Android 10 based MIUI 11. Both the variant features a 6.67-inch full-HD+ hole-punch display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and 1,080×2,400 pixels of resolution.
In terms of cameras, Redmi K30 (both variants) come with a quad rear camera set up comprising of Sony IMX686 64-megapixel camera sensor with f/1.89 aperture, a 5-megapixel macro lens, a 2-megapixel depth sensor and an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens with 120 degrees field of view. Dell announced the launch of its first G series desktop Dell G5 5090 in India. The company launched the gaming-centric desktop while expanding its PC gaming portfolio in the country. The desktop comes with Intel’s 9th-gen processors and Nvidia graphics.
Dell Technologies introduced its first desktop under the G series that has been built to cater to gaming enthusiasts. The desktop is said to support 9th Gen Intel Core i9 processors and i9 K-series CPUs, VR-capable NVIDIA GeForce GTX and RTX graphic cards to provide best gaming experience, high-fidelity gaming experience and split-second responsiveness. The device is available in two configurations of 9th-gen 6-core Intel Core i5-9600K and a 9th-gen 8-core Intel Core i7-9700K. The processor is coupled up with 8GB or 16GB of 2,666MHz DDR4 RAM and single-drive and dual-drive storage options. The company provides 1TB 7,200RPM SATA HDD 500GB M.2 SSD in single-drive whereas the 512GB M.2 SSD (Boot) + 1TB 7200RPM SATA HDD storage option in dual-drive options.
We earlier mentioned that the new Dell desktop includes the Nvidia GTX and RTX graphics card. The buyers get the choice between a GTX 1650 with 4GB GDDR5, a GTX 1660Ti with 6GB GDDR6 or an RTX 2060 with 6GB GDDR6.
The Dell G5 5090 comes equipped with a 95W fan with a maximum fan speed of 4,500rpm and a flow rate of 41.8 cubic feet per minute.
